The same people who say Tyson was "shot" vs Douglas in 1990 still think he's got something left?

Merchant in this interview really asked Mike some tough questions. And the way he worded it really seemed to generate a response from Mike, who was quick to deny much of what Merchant was saying, about his team not treating the eye properly in the corner with an enswell and not pushing him as hard in training. Tyson even went so far to call what Merchant was saying about his new inexperienced team a "ridiculous insult" but I don't think anyone watching that now would deny that it was the truth.

I never thought he was shot versus Douglas

I just thought Douglas was a better fighter who had to control distance and keep Tysons style ineffective by keeping him at bay at the end of a jam and picking him apart

and at 53, he may not be entirely washed up at some seem to think

we don’t know that Tyson was fully prepared when he trained for Danny Williams, or Kevin McBride

what if he dedicated himself now more than he had for either one of those fights

Kevin McBride offered no skill whatsoever, and Tysons just gave up, because he apparently Didn’t have the stamina

who knows how well he could do If he trained hard, developed his Inside KO game, improved his stamina To peak condition, and got his body in a great condition he could for a 53 yr old
