The Wilder fight was a blatant robbery and I personally don't hold that against Fury regarding resume.

Looking at Fury's resume, which is thin with two stand out names. The McDermott fight was a bad decision and Fury could have a loss on his record. Holding Cunningham by the back of head when he landed the KO could have gone the other way and been a DQ. His resume puts him ahead of Joshua only if you disregard what Joshua achieved in fewer fights and who he faced once he beat Martin.

It's all opinions but Fury doesn't sit alone at the top of the division. Not based on resume alone.

I don't know why everyone made him into this underdog "cult hero speaking for the oppressed and vulnerable" in the first place. Because that's what he became in the UK. I think ESPN made a terrible choice signing a guy like Fury, who is emotionally unstable and has an unwatchable style unless he fights specific opponents with a certain style.

 

The fix was in and now Wilder is forced to reap what he sowed. Truth is that Wilder should have known better than to bite the hand that feeds; the only reason Wilder's last fight was on PPV was because he was fighting Fury and because he tried to **** Fury over his next fight won't be on PPV. Who's fault is that?

This. I see it everyday. When people come into lots of money they become high and mighty, but become humble once the money is gone

 

Just shows how bad things are,what’s even crazier is how some fans have been duped re scoring fights and come out with all manner of stuff about the jab being obsolete all of a sudden and this Canelo inspired thing about looking for reasons to give rounds instead of just scoring as it happens.

So in the Fury v Wilder fight where Fury won every round bar those two 10-8 rounds they say Fury didn’t deserve to win for getting dropped late on,instead of just scoring the damn fight as it happens.
Same goes for Canelo v Golovkin,instead of just scoring it,they say Golovkin didn’t deserve to win cause he never got the KO lol.
Props should go to Fury for going to the USA and getting stuffed,who can blame any Brits now for avoiding away fights?

Fury is no fool. He isn't taking a rematch for $10m on Wilder's terms because Wilder needs a rematch to earn back what Fury took from him that night.

Fury got offered in excess of $50m for a 5 fight deal in America. Where is Wilder's deal? How much is Wilder making for his next fight with Brezeale? will that be PPV? I doubt it...and if it is it's a big risk for all involved.

 

Fury actually did Wilder a favor by accepting the first fight on Wilder's terms. Now it is only fair that Wilder accepts the rematch on Fury's terms.
