Bradley boxed a lot better than people give him credit for, said it many times. Typical psuedo-fan witchunt bollocks going on. He didn't deserve to win, but he did well for large portions of the fight. Should be given his due. People with a card like Ledderman (1 round to Bradley) need to re-evaluate their interest in the sport of Boxing.
All I know is that Pac won the first round; and I seem to incomprehensibly be in the minority in thinking so. :conf http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=410858
aw maybe thats what it was leading people to believe pac won a landslide, i watched the fight at a pub surrounded by pac fans who were pretty quite the whole night
def not in terms of scoring but its overshadows rios abril because of how much was at stake with manny being considered one of if not the best fighter in the world
divac checking in on a related jmm thread. anyway, your JMM went lucky with those shots. if you rewatched the fight, there are more instances where your idol's head snapped back.
It was pretty much Bradley's ineffective punches that factored in for me. The fact that they were technically scoring blows doesn't hold much weight when the punches just aren't moving Pacquiao at all, while Pacquiao's punches are rocking Bradley in return. I also think sometimes people tend to give a fighter rounds simply by doing better than he was doing in previous rounds, and Bradley was so badly dominated in the first half of the fight that the second half "surge" he had might have appeared more impressive than it was.
9-3 Pacquiao over Bradley Rounds 1-3 to Bradley Rounds 4-12 to Pacquiao I thought the most decisive rounds of the fight were 1, 2, and 4. The rest of them were either somewhat or very close. I was completely shocked by people thinking Pac started strong and finished weak. I thought it was the other way around, with Bradley kind of easily handling him early on.
Most of bradleys shots were blocked by manny. not only were they powder puff, but they also never landed. Manny was so shocked because couldnt remember getting hit in that fight. Manny dominated for me. 9 rounds to 3. Maybe 10 rounds to 2. Bradley only won 1 round convincingly IMO. So you have to be extremely generous to give him this fight. Wth Manny easilly having 5 obvious rounds for him. The other 6 rounds were close, but i had most leaning towards mannt.
duane ford's explanation why bradley won a certain round. paraphrasing,...."pacquiao hurt him in that round and he let him get away. the old pacquiao would have finished him. that's why i gave that round to bradley."
