aye hes singed with Frank Maloney, i am not sure if its good if he wants reguler fights up here. But a few low key fights away from home are prob good idea to help him shake off ring rust and get him on an even keel, still think him v appleby would be a good fight
I saw his interview with the BBC yesterday and he sounds as level-headed and philosophical as I've heard him. Fighting outwith Scotland is probably a good idea as it will take a bit of pressure off him as he won't feel compelled to go into crowd pleasing mode. He needs wins, howsoever they are achieved, to put himself back in the frame although I think a world title shot is a little optimistic after only two fights.
What weight does he plan to fight at? I can remember him having two great fights with medina, hopefully he's still got some left.
Well, although I'm a bit concerned with how he'll be, coming back to the ring after the lay off and all that's happened the last few years, if it helps him get over his past demons, keeps him healthy and clean living ... then all power to him.
what weight then lads? super feather or lightweight? he looked drawn in on ringside, he's maybe training for a super featherweight fight. one things for sure, he's still one dower hard looking *******.
super feather-heres a wee clip of him on ringside. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,18293_7558272,00.html
we all know he's never making feather again. i kinda thaught it would be super feather looking at his face on ringside. he looks like he's right up for this comeback.
