Canelo is much better than jacobs more accurate better chin better counter puncher better defense fought better comp I could go on and on. Gggs lack of fighting world class opposition caught up to him brook showed you that. Canelo has faced world class opposition. Canelo will beat ggg rather easily. I hope ggg is the favorite because those are the type of fights you can clean up on and make a small fortune at the books.
I hope you realize that's ridiculous. Jacobs fought with great defense, speed, IQ and toughness. The secret to beating Golovkin is in those body shots Jacobs was landing. Big Golovkin fan here btw, but we NEED to see a rematch to truly gauge GGG skills.
Who has Canelo faced that's world class at MW? Lol dude, I think you're letting your bias get the best of you. Canelo certainly isn't beating GGG easy, he couldn't even beat Cotto easily. I'd like you to explain how Canelo causes GGG the same problems that Jacobs did.
Simple better accuracy and counter punching. Canelo also has a higher ring iq than jacobs ggg is a sucker for the uppercut canelo will have a field day with ggg because of this. Lastly p4p cotto is a much better fighter than ggg I can't think of a single thing ggg does better than cotto other than cutting off the ring.
Still not convincing. Canelos going to come forward a lot more and move around less than Jacobs, also if he tries that bull**** rope-a-dope crap he's going to be asking for trouble. Not to mention that he's nowhere near as big a puncher as Jacobs, that also played a role in keeping GGG honest and tentative. Canelo is also much smaller and doesn't possess the physical attributes that Jacobs has, which again contributed at least partially to how the fight played out last night.
Elite fighters overcome size with skill I really didn't see that with ggg. Jacobs is a guy who 95% of this forum me included thought would be carried out on a stretcher. Why? Because people here never rated jacobs. If a guy who was never rated outboxed you and beats you up landing more power shots then there's a problem. Especially when you're seen as this power punching ko monster who kos heavyweights in sparring. There's a reason why GGG turned canelo down just like he turned down ward. He wants this ride to last for as long as it can because canelo will end it.
You keep going on about 'elite skill' and other buzzwords. I don't want your agenda, break down how Canelo troubles and beats GGG. Thanks.
Jacobs made weight. He weighed 159.something. What is this "he didn't make weight" nonsense going around? IBF second day weigh in is optional. It's like how paying sanctioning fees is optional. Fighting for any title at all is always optional. He didn't care about the IBF belt and didn't bother with the second day weigh in. There have been countless cases of this, do some studying I guess is all I can say.
I already told you level of comp matters canelo has been fighting elite guys skilled guys hes seen them. He's been in there with the best pbf for example and ggg hasn't canelo will be the best fighter ggg has faced but the same can't be said for Canelo. Canelo while not mobile is a very accurate defensive counter puncher. He's also a good combination puncher and has good power when he sits on his shots. Ggg will stand in front of Canelo allowing him to showcase his speed. Ggg will use that high guard which canelo will take advantage of by hitting him with uppercut all night. On top of that canelos defense is better than anyone GGG has faced. Canelo only needs to be careful the first 4 rounds the longer the fight goes the better it will be for him. Gggs power fades late in the fight and canelo has a good chin anyway. Canelo is on the rise and ggg is on the way down. For the life of me I can't understand why people couldn't see that brook exposed ggg. The blueprint is already out on him canelo will follow it. Canelos skill along with his level of comp and youth will see him to a win over ggg.
