The Setantan boxing on Saturday clashes with World Cup games

I don't think they have individually bought rights for either event. They purchased rights to all Scotlands away qualifiers as a batch and they have a contract with Hayemaker to show their events. They just happen to coincide in this case.

 

i am going to watch wales vs Finland live as my mum is Finnish. sky+ the boxing watch it when im back the next day. shame about rhodes vs small but its getting re-arranged

 

Well they'd have brought the rights a long time before an England friendly was announced for that day-which could have been at home or away. If the friendly was away, itv would have had the rights.

And for the Boxing, I dunno. I'd guess Hayemaker consulted the dates with Setanta and they approved but you'd have to presume the majority of setanta/sky subscribers would either watch the Irish or scottish World cup qualifiers than the Boxing.

But the England game is on earlier, 5.15 kick off so people wont miss out on the boxing to see that

I guess it can't be helped though.

I'm going to the hayemaker show, still looking forward to it even though rhodes small is off, some good fights, the scouse derby, gethin watson (partly goin up to support gethin), derry matthews is on, be good to see price, groves, mcguire too.

My brothers going the england match, he's a wanker, i'm not.

I didn't realise Rhodes was off the bill. That makes me sad - I was looking forward to him flattening Small.

 

I was set to attend the event, but as Ryan isn't fighting I have passed my tickets on
