They complain on twitter "every day in boxing is lie" and no noise from Japan about fight. It seem very much "dead in the water" and ticket retailer not list bout even though they list Takayama vs Odaira, which not announced yet.

He has only himself to blame. He could take a few risks, fight in a more fan friendly style, make an audience for his work, but he doesn't. And any sympathy I had for him went out the window when he sucker punched that guy after an accidental headbutt when they were supposed to touch gloves and knocked him out. That **** is low class and beneath the behavior of a champion.

well, the thing is, it is very shameful....but rigo isn't a popular champ like, say pacman, so nobody cares.

you can have all the talent in the world in boxing....who gives a siht? canelo alvarez is not even the best fighter in his division and he gets multi-million dollar deals that are usually reserved for proven greats...none of the other guys at his level (trout, lara) are getting anything close to that kind of remuneration. you know why? because boxing is not legit sport like football or basketball or tennis or soccer where you have to beat the best to be the best and that's how you make big money. in boxing aint a goddamn thing really matters...rigo might as well just retire from boxing now....leave this sport to the no-talent mexican sluggers and the "popular for no good reason" posers... because he's never gonna get the big fights his talents merit. that's just the facts...that's what pro boxing is these days....a farce...a beauty contest...and boxing fans are the stupidest sports fans. but then again, they're usually drunk off their a88 by the time the main event comes on so, you get what you get.

this is why amateur fighters can win a world championship in their first or second pro fight. because in amateur boxing, like in every other sane sport, they have a tournament to determine the best...but the pro game is so utterly wretched, corrupt and rotten to the core that in a lotta cases, its the shiat that rises to the top.
