    Firstly congrats to Kovalev for the great win Saturday, he proved me wrong and showed he is more than a fairly crude slugger with massive power

    Having said that, we've seen in the amateurs and against Boone, Kovalev can be wide open to counter punchers and has not displayed the sturdiest of chins.

    A counter puncher with good speed, head movement and power is Kovalevs kryptonite. Personally I think George Groves is the man for the job. A huge SMW whos conditioning would benefit from the move up to 175, I believe his style is all wrong for the Krusher. If he lands anything like some of the punches he did on Froch it would be goodnight Vienna

    Theres prob only a handful of people in world boxing from cruiser weight down that wouldn't have been ko'ed by that combo

    Groves is very, very fragile fighter. His punch resistance is bad and he has also poor stamina/bad condition. He is way too sloppy when fight goes on not that he would survive more than 2-4 rounds to begin with.

    I can see an early KO for Groves here after finding Sergeys chin (a rather large target) with a sickening counter right hand
