Legal, but the beating he was getting sent out for round after round should have been illegal

man was out his depth. Now I understand how Charlie Z could take his shots

There was a left hook that landed on Wilder's chin first, which moved his head. Then Fury's right hand landed right on Deontay's ear. 100% legal shot.

Man, you guys are pathetic. Wilder lost fairly. His delusional fans (same ones who talked nothing but trash before the fight) are crying about rabbit punches, sore legs, heavy ring walk gimp suits, and everything but the fact that their guy got beat soundly. It’s rare to see a HW put that kind of beating on an undefeated champ but it happened. Accept it. Oh, and it’s going to happen again if wilder follows through and fights him again. Maybe worse this time.

Wilder hits behind the head every fight. That windmill punch is basically a rabbit punch. He’s frequently allowed to do it as the Ortiz video showed. He tried to do it against Fury but he was too smart and too slick. It’s hilarious to see wilder fans complain about rabbit punches. Pathetic bunch of losers.

I think the punch was legal but just so happened that the way Wilder was turned at the time of impact it happened to land near the back. Just a bad happenstance, imo. Wasnt an actual rabbit punch.

Fury did not do anything wrong with that punch, if it did land in an illegal spot then it was more to do with Wilder's actions than Fury's. Also, if one was so concerned about rabbit punching then Wilder probably needs a large amount of his KO wins erased from his record - his rabbit punch which dropped Fury from memory was all Wilder.

The punch is aimed straight, Wilder kneels down but not fast enough so the punch lands exactly where you see it. Nothing illegal about that.

Lol so Fury is barred from punching Wilder in the head now?

Didn't Wilder make fun of Furys pillow fists? Is Wilders head so bad that he can't take punches for pillow fisted guys?

If an opponent dropped to a knee and the ref was too slow to jump in Wilder would think nothing of swinging wound up power shots at them and following up until the ref literally dived in and forced him to stop. If a fighter turned away to say they'd had enough Wilder would think nothing or throwing a full power straight right at the back of their exposed heads then following up with a blindsided left hook, then leap around like it was some sort of accomplishment while they lay slumped on the canvas. That's the type of fighter he is: he doesn't care about the rules or the other fighter's safety. Once he senses blood he jumps in and doesn't stop until he's literally wrestled away by the ref or his opponent is clean laid out on the canvas.

What Fury did was extremely minor in comparison. He threw a legal shot at Wilder who ducked down and got clipped on the back of the head/ear section (depending on where you think the glove landed). Like the costume excuse Wilder has no one to blame for that but himself. Can't say the same for all the poor sods who got mercilessly fouled by him over the years

When your head is filled with feathers even pillow fists can hurt.
