Paul wants nothing to do with Pavlik since the Martinez fight brought him out of his delusions of granduer. However, he is NOT a cherry picker. Williams fougth Margarito, Winky ****ing Wright, and Sergio Martinez. Hardly guys one "cherry picks." Go away ya ****ing peckerwood!

Kelly has an exciting style and is hard not to like personality-wise, but there's definitely some truth to what you're saying here, imo.

For me, alot is gonna' depend on how he does vs Martinez who is anything but a gimme for Pavlik stylewise, imo.

FACT-KERMIT CINTRON GETS HURT AND PULLS OUT OF A FEB 2008 DATE WITH PAUL...

FACT-PAUL OFFERES ZAB AND SHANE THE FIGHT AND THEY BOTH SAY NO

FACT- PAUL MAKES A 4 MILLION DOLLAR OFFER TO TONY FOR A REMATCH AND HE SAYS NOT

FACT- PAUL SIGNS TO FIGHT KELLY PAVLIK ON OCT 3RD AND KELLY SAYS HE IS INJURED AND NEEDS MORE TIME

FACT-PAUL AGREES TO POSTPONE THE FIGHT TO DEC 5TH

FACT-KP PULLS OUT CLAIMING AN INJURY-FAIR ENOUGH-OR SO WE THOUGHT

FACT-KP FIGHTS A LESSER KNOWN OPPONENT AND ONE THAT STYLISTICALLY IS GREAT FOR KP...NO THREAT AT ALL REALLY...

FACT-PAUL WILLIAMS SPENT MONEY ON BOTH TRAINING CAMPS WHICH ENDED UP BEING WAISTED MONEY ALONG WITH WAISTED TIME...

    :deal

THE GUYS PAUL ARE TRYING TO FIGHT OR IS FIGHTING ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD OR THE BEST IN THEIR DIVISION...NOT PAULS' FAULT KP BACKED OUT REGARDLESS OF WETHER THE INJURY WAS LEGIT OR NOT...

yea...they still haven't explained how it is pauls fault either ...i mean even if the injury was legit, which i dont believe it is, but if it was, how is paul at fault for that? He didn't wanna waist more time or money in a fight that wouldn't happen

Whoever said PWill cherrypicks needs to have his head examined. He picks some awful fiesty cherries: Margarito(back when noone wanted anything to do with him), Winky Wright(the leper of the 154 and 160 lb divisions), Sergio Martinez(one bad ass mutha-shut yo mouth! I'm just talking about Martinez-we can dig it) Plus he calls out Pac, Floyd and Mosley and all he gets is silence. It takes him barking up the tree of a hard hitting middleweight to try and get a fight...and he gets the run around inspite of the fact that he's coming up in weight for the fight.

Kelly needs this fight more than Williams true validate himself after the Hopkins disaster. If not Paul then some legitimate world class middleweight like Sturm, Sylvester, Wright, or hell even Koren Gevor for crying out loud.

Why do you meth head Pavlik Fans seem to have a hardon for Paul Williams. Your shitty fighter pulled out twice with a fight with P. Will and you expect him to agree to fight your guy a third time at the same rate? **** No, he should demand more and be compensated.

Yeah. Kelly had a bad run last year, mainly due to the staph infection. He doesn't need Williams. He has the titles and that still counts. Many feel Martinez beat Williams and feel he is a much worse style match up for Kelly so a fight with Martinez is just as good if not better. Even though a fair number of people here pick Williams and Martinez over Pavlik, make no mistake, they will all say Pavlik beat a WW or a JMW when he wins.

Sturm, still pricing himself out from what I hear.

The 'other' title holder? Haven't even heard his name mentioned. Loew just had a fighter go up against him. He thinks it would be "the easiest belt we ever picked up". Don't look for that fight any time soon. It is once again being held hostage in Germany.

If things don't shake out at MW, Kelly can always go up in weight.

Although I agree with you about PW feeling that enough is enough with Pavlik's people, I can't see why anyone would think the injury wasn't legit. Doesn't mean they handled it or the subsequent postponements properly, but to say the injury itself wasn't legit makes no sense. There are medical records, documents, photos.
He would've fought PW, just not as soon as Dec 5., being that he would have been in a compromised state.
They asked for a postponement, yet again, and were understandably told no. So he fought a guy like Espino who he knew he could take in a compromised state, rather than be stripped of his titles.
