I've grappled and boxed with a buddy of mine that came back from the Marines and I wasn't impressed, at all. Obviously Marines that train MCMAP will beat up the average joe who hasn't trained anything but really, I'm not just trying to rile you up when I say that MCMAP doesn't replace a real BJJ gym and it doesn't replace a real boxing/Thai boxing gym. They're not "amazing" or "phenomenal" or anything like that. They're brawlers with NO fundamentals. They all use chins for defense and Martin doesn't have a chin. All three generally throw haymakers from the waist, not one has a jab, all of their footwork is trash, and I could go on and on. Really dude, they're not good boxers, at all. That's why I doubt you've ever been to a real gym because you apparently have trouble telling flat footed brawlers that telegraph every punch they throw and wind up from the waist from truly outstanding fighters.

MMA guys with awesome hands are Anderson, Penn, Overeem, Arlovski (pity about the chin), and Edgar. Good hands are guys like Rampage, Minotoro, Dos Santos, and Diaz. Anything after those type guys is average at best and in many cases, utter crap.

I had Siver-Wiman to Wiman by 30-27, Matt Wiman definitely won rounds 2 and 3, by a clear margin, and I think he did enough to edge the 1st as well, though I wouldn't argue if anyone had the first 10-10, or even 10-9 Siver though that'd be a bit of a stretch IMO.

According to FightMetric numbers, Siver outlanded his opponent 38-9 in total strikes in the opening round. In the third, the German striker again earned the edge in total punches and kicks 47-6. Shockingly, even in the second frame - a round clearly won by Wiman after slicing open his opponent with vicious ground-and-pound - Siver actually outstruck his opponent 43-19.

At the end of three rounds, Siver landed 128 total strikes to Wiman's 34, and he held the edge in FightMetric's "significant strikes" category, 31-26.

MMAjunkie.com also scored the fight for Siver, 29-28, awarding him the opening and closing rounds.

All three judges ultimately awarded the victory to Siver, and UFC president Dana White said after the event that he agreed with the call....

White said at the evening's post-event press conference. "I gave him the first and third, and there's no doubt who won the second round.
