The Six Reasons Why I Dislike Heavyweight Boxing

I seriously believe that if the Klitschko's were from america and black american,

that they would both be worshiped on this forum.

The HATE comes from them being white, and non american speaking eastern europeans is the problem.

There are alot of nationistic americans here looking to live a success through the HW division rather than their own lives, and that is sad and I feel sorry for them when they make these stupid racist posts.

The HW division clearly points to one hero.

 

Does anyone have any answer to this?

I agree Wlad would probably beat Joe Frazier, but who has Wlad faced that had quicker speed (hand and foot) than Muhammad Ali?

Wladimir best wins Byrd, Peter, Chageav aint on the level of opposition beaten by Ali, Holyfield and Lennox.

The current HW division is weaker than it used to be. So being in the top 10 ring ranking in this era dont mean it is better than being in the top 10 ring rankings in the previous eras.

point being Wladimir beating the ring #3 today aint as impressive say the ring # 3 in 1986 (Pinklon Thomas) or ring #3 Ken Norton.

Not that it is Wladimir's fault the HW division is so ****, but that is why the HW division is disliked since it dont contain the quality it once had.

Ali did not have anywhere near the same physical advantages in the majority of his fights that Lewis, Wladimir and Vitali had. It was a more level playing field back then, for 100% certainty.

I'm just going to invalidate one of your claims, because it's obvious that the rest of your claims are entirely stupid.

Someone seems to forget the dominant HW before Ali was a 5'8, 190lb fighter and that the average height of Ali opponents was 5'10 - 6 inches shorter than Ali.

Wlad in his last ten fights has an average fighter size of 6'2, a height advantage of 4 inches. The last "dominant" fighter in his division was either his brother or Lennox Lewis - both approximately the same size as him.

The rest of your post? It's just stupid. Other people have pointed it out but honestly, don't review boxing, you don't understand it well enough and you make baseless idiotic claims.

It's tough for the division to look good if nobody fights each other to show it. When they do, the results have been pretty encouraging- Adamek-Arreola was a really entertaining fight, for example. The contenders need to quit waiting around like vultures for the Klitschko's to fall off before they make their move, taking the easiest fights possible in the meantime. Get some good fights made, and the whole division looks better.

 

Can you summerise this into one liners.

Your problem is that an olympic gold medalist who just turned 30, who has been facing fringe contender fights from almost Day 1, has managed to crack the Top 10, despite facing several ex title contenders and dominating them.

Yet, Ali himself got himself into the Top 10 within less fights. He fought a legend in Archie Moore in his 15th fight and had a title fight in his 20th
fight (when there was only one title belt)

Michael Spinks is another fighter who had a title in his 17th fight.

So your point is made completely invalid by the history you think will protect you.

The same Pinklon Thomas that spent most of his career as a contender retiring on his stool? Who got a title at a very weak time in boxing and then got absolutely beaten senseless against anyone with a pulse afterwards? Tommy Morrison for instance?

Even ESB who have different rankings to most and tend not to favour fighters that lose to someone named Klitschko has 4 fighters in the current top ten that Wlad has beaten.

The difference between this era and Ali's era? Ali when he had fighters his size, was always in battles because the guy refused to believe he could lose, fought with everything he had and had an iron jaw (something he's now punished for, via parkinsons)

You'll not see those wars anymore, except if someone can challenge Vitali. Wlad? Doesn't have the chin and is too dominant to be involved in that type of war.
