Virgil stated that 168 is his ideal weight, he was 173.4 2 and a half weeks b4 weigh in. He will be going back to 68 (Virgil already said). :hi: There will be no 175 for a good while. He is a 168 lb fighter and he should be fighting at 168. :bbb
cottos prime years were as a welter shorty....you know it..i know it.... yer prob one of the same guys that gave cotto no credit for beating a "shot" sergio
I'd like to see him go back to 168 against a live opponent and not look drained. Could it be done? Maybe, but the older and longer Ward waits the tougher it will be going to 168 and looking good.
here is how boxing "fans" work "cotto beat a shot/injured sergio...that win means nothing...he beat a one legged fighter who couldnt even train" subject of cotto/ggg comes up "one of cottos best wins is at a jr mw/mw catch"
Wrong again. He fought at 161.5 against Amari. :hi:, 161 against Dziarra You boys gotta start doing your homework.
Almost 6 yrs since Cotto could make WW. Where the f h has shocker been. Oh, I know, he was too busy keeping up with the National Spelling Bee competitions and watching honey boo boo blossom into the beauty queen she'll surely become. But he did get it right with FLOYD. He managed to get his hands on a LMW title solely by bringing a 175 lb Canelo to 152. And still nearly lost to him....Lmao
nearly lost? what fight did u watch? are u cj ross? lol again..i bet you were one of those guys giving no credit to cotto for beating sergio but when the cotto/ggg situation comes up yer all like "one of cottos best wins of his career is at mw"
That's what I meant. So a fight for ward with kovalev is closer in weight, so no moaning that GGG isn't fighting ward if you don't want ward to fight kovalev.
? When have I ever moaned? I said that GGG should fight Ward at 68 when he's ready to make that jump, not 164. Ward should fight Kovalev @ 75 only when he's ready to make that jump, which is clearly not NOW.
