The Sky Boxing Team

I like Johnny Nelson, always thought he seems like a nice bloke. Was it straight after the Bellew fight when everyone was saying it was a robbery, he was the only one saying it was a fair result?

 

Its not hard to be nice to people, i held a door open for a bunch of birds today, i let a old lady go in-front of me on the escalator aswell.

Its totally irrelevant that sky boxing team where laughie and jokey off the camera's.

Johnny Nelson for me is the only guy who is really good at his job, Jim Watt used to be but..? Maybe he is forced to be bias during fights, maybe the higher powers that be force him to be bias.

Glenn McCory is one of the biggest most boring mongs in boxing punditry.

Barry Mcguigan, Johnny Nelson, Spencer Oliver all decent pundits!

 

No one's denying that skills or necessarily moaning as such. There is no doubting them as guys of camera, its great that they mixed with the fans. But they are still **** on TV, it doesnt change anything..

Don't mean to come across as moaning at all skills and you should post more often mate, you are valued on this forum, dont stop posting because of a minority of people who are trying to destroy this forum. I could name names, but I wont, I think you know who those people are.

....and I echo that Skills. Dont stop posting because of the minority! We need more people talking Boxing like you, because you do just that, you TALK BOXING. This forum is turning into anything but.

 

Yeh no disrespect to Skills but, its giving credit to sky boxing team for something ****.

I was very nice today to allot of people, and i thought nothing of it.

They are all probably nice guys, and i think if they could all speak freely..? They would do a great job.

I think the forces at Sky, influence them to be bias.

 

Said it for a while myself mate. They have no freedom as such and are restricted to what they can say. Most of the time they all sing of the same hymn **** and are as bias as ****. Thats Sky, not a coincidence.

Thats why I like Bunce, because at least he is a bit more outspoken....and yes I know he gets a lot of stick to.

 

Have you noticed the way Ifilm only really interview Johnny Nelson aswell..? and he is a totally different character with Ifilm.

Of course you have to be bias alittle bit when working for a broadcasting business like Sky, they are all trying to promote their product.

Steve Bunce fell out with sky..? Not sure why, but maybe it was because of the powers up above.

 

Couldn't agree more - they were all top drawer. No shortage of people asking for pics, autographs, opinions on the fights etc and they all got what they were after.

i have to say, the Dark Lord was great too. Everyone who asked for a photo, he asked their name, asked them who they thought was gonna win, was genuinely nice to everyone who approached him. Not so dark after all...

 

why do you say that, skills?

 

Yep really enjoyed it to be fair. I asked for a photo with Scott Quigg and ended up chatting to him for a good ten mins. He was absolutely sound. And yes, some people might rightly say that we should expect these guys to be decent, but it's not just that they are polite, they are genuinely happy to chat with fans and share their views.

fair enough man. The Hearn vs Wazza stuff has gone OTT no doubt, but hopefully it'll pass soon enough.
