I wouldn't say a nobody. Dawson is certainly the more talented, and on his day, better fighter, but that doesn't make Thompson a nobody. Won the WBO Cruiser title and defended it twice. Fought in 5 world title fights. Definetely not a nobody. Like I said in talent terms, Dawson's ahead, but even then he doesn't make Thompson a nobody. No way.

 

So let's accept your conclusions that Carl Thompson is someone after all yet in terms of talent he is far inferior to Dawson. If this is so, where does your island comrade get off at trying to humiliate Adamek over losing to Dawson in 12 rounds (in which Dawson was knocked down) yet ignoring Haye's overwhelming stoppage loss to Thompson? Seems to me it is obvious that Haye's loss is a far bigger loss than Adamek's.

 

Huh? I think Haye's loss is bigger than Adameks. Thompson was a fighter Haye should have beat, and Dawson was a fighter who was very much on Adamek's level, I won't argue that Haye's loss was bigger. I just don't think it's right to disrespect Thompson. He's not a domestic level fighter, he's a champ, and I feel that doesn't get acknowledged enough. He was decidely past it when Haye beat him, but he was no bum, that experience matters. I agree about your comparison between the 2 fights, just not what you said about Carl Thompson :good
