Middle weight- How about the Bad one himself...Bennie Briscoe, is a threat in just about anyone's era. battles with Monzon, hagler, Hart, Valdez show him to be stiff competition even for the most elite. Seldom on a top 10 list...unless for power...But dangerous enough for anyone...ever!

Light Heavy weight- Back to the name Lopez...Yaqui Lopez- Battled Conteh, Galindez X'2, MS Muhammad X'2....Beat future champ (dominated really) Mike rossman....Able to box, very nice jab, good chin, decent power...Again not an easy out for anyone.

HW- Not my favorite, but fits the criteria...Big Daddy, Bowe. wins against Holyfield show him at the upper echelon of his era. his size and movement and skill at the top of his game would be a handful for anyone...never KO'd...avenged his only loss...some including myself think he was the top dog, and likely winner had his management allowed him and Lennox to fight....Mere speculation, I know!...At his best would present a problem and most likely concern for any HW in history!

..........On any given night, Edwin Rosario could take out damn near any lightweight ever, but he could just as likely get bombed out himself.

Pipino Cuevas and Ike Quartey at WW.

Ronald Wright at 160 - his style is just a total ***** for alot of guys.

Still an ATG but I feel he is underrated - Floyd Patterson. He was unlucky enough that he was at the tail end of the "small heavyweight" era and had to run head-first into the flagship of the superheavy era - the Big Bad Bear. Anybody who doesn't have a very strong chin could lose to Patterson, as he was an extremely fast starter with amazing handspeed, finishing ability, and underrated power.

Jimmy Young is an awesome choice here. He was able to outbox Foreman and fought an even fight with Ali. He would definently pull off some upsets against some of the "greats."

    Thanks mate.

Some great choices all thru here. Sal mentions Rosario, and i see him as the hardest punching 135 ever so he's a great holler. Carter too is a standout. Ez cuts to the chase as well. PP69, and Cuevas a huge hitter too and Bowe is a fantastic choice too. Some other mentions are a bit over my head but given the proclaimants i am sure they are awesome mentions.

Flyweight: John Caldwell. He moved up to bantam, but this was pretty much through lack of competition. Beat some good fighters before being beaten by Jofre. Never, ever a natural Bantam, he was mostly inside that limit. He could fight anyone at fly.

Bantamweight: Orland Canizales. Horribly underated. He seems to me like someone who is only as good as the man in front of him, mixing in top ten all time competition could really spring some surprises.

Featherweight: Antonio Esparragoza. Mentally strong with advantages in reach, deeply patient. He'd be a match up for some all-time greats in this most excellent division.

Lightweight: Esteban De Jesus of course.

Welterweight: Holman Williams. I would certianly pick him over some fighters whose names are much, much better known, and he's already proven himself over an ATG welter in Charley Burley - 3 times.

Middleweight: Eddie Booker. Archie Moore considered him one of the best ever. He'd be a handful for any great Middle.

    Light-Heavyweight: John Conteh. Brilliant talent

Heavyweight: Vitali Klitchsko. Absolutley nowhere near any top ten, he is a tough match up for all of them.

    Heavyweight: James Douglas (duh)
    Cruiser: Smokin' Bert Cooper
    Lightheavy: Marvin Johnson, Battling Siki
    Spr. Middle: um...
    Middle: Michael Nunn, Tony Zale
    Jnr. middle: - Mike McCallum
    Welter: Johhny Bratton
    jnr. Welter: um...maybe Battling Torrez
    Lightweight: Joe Brown, Simon Brown
    Jnr. Lightweight: Jon-Jon Molina
    Feather: Barry McGuigan
    Jnr. Feather: Louie Espinoza
    Bantam: Gaby Canizales

...that's enough; too much thinking required here. :D

..........Oooooo. Another good one would be Joe Medel, powerpunching bantamweight in the Jofre-Harada era.
