The smartest trick Solis ever pulled was to convince the world he's out of shape

But not for this fight, he's in the best shape in his pro career, and if anyone has a chance of beating the 40yo Ukranian is him - he's simply the best HW talent to turn pro in a decade, and when it matters, he stepped his game up.

The two interesting facts here is style and reach. Odlanier actually matches Vitali in reach and that is cruical if he wants to counter Vitali's 'jabhook' or right hand followup, and that is where this gets exciting. Vitali's open style is made for you to open up and fall into his traps, he can make you overreach/miss and counter or time you the very moment you open up, Solis however is similarly smart and blessed in that regard. He can feint and set the traps of his own, and could find a lot of success making Vitali grow overconfident and luring him in only to counter the counterpuncher. Solis has speed, timing, reach and power to trouble Vitali, the question is stamina, intensity and output - he might have to got for the big bombs to get the W, and no 40yo fighter is unstoppable. If not one punch then accumulation, if not accumulation, cuts, there are multiple ways to chop Klitschko down, but he has to do it one way or another. Vitali of course is a very smart and adaptable himself, Sanders fooled him once, but never again, so this could get tactical and all about sweet science.

Solis is now in shape, Vitali is professional as ever, and I can't wait for this very exciting HW match-up. :happy

I think you've lost the plot, Bigbone.

Solis is a few pounds lighter, but he's still fat. He's still going to be sluggish, tired, lethargic. He's still going to have poor footwork and average defense.

If he's twice the Solis that fought Austin, then Vitali is still going to beat him. He's just not good enough.

It doesnt matter what we think of Solis' ability/talent etc it is completely and utterly irrelevant. If a 6'1'' guy weighs (or as much as) as much as a 6'7'' guy then the shorter guy has no chance.

Now factor in the fact that the 6'7''guy is a caertain Vitaly Klit then the short guy has **** all chance. Talent is utterly irrelevant. When Solis starts breathing out of his arse even I could knock him out. I fear for the health of Solis.

solis is in shape and is very hungry. he knows this is a big break for his career and hes not going to let the other fighter spoil it. hes younger, hungrier, faster and more skillful on the backfoot. hes got some pop in his hands too.

    cant wait to see this

Is that what you call in shape?

Even though he looks in good shape the FACT remains. He wont be able to go the full 12 and not gas due to having too much fat on his body.

    He will loose.

Im glad Solis has stepped it up regarding his weight. Even if he loses, he needs to keep getting his weight down further as he will have plenty of opportunities in the future in this weak division.

I tend to agree with Bone here.. If Solis can handle the pressure of Big Fight and puts his best performance we might have very interesting night ahead. Solis is fat and uses disturbing jewelery but in this case I really do believe that styles make fights.

Way too much question marks to declare Vitali as sure winner.

At the press conferences and weigh-in, Solis hasn't even dared look Vitali in the eyes. He doesn't have the confidence to win, much less the conditioning or skill.
