The SMW division is stronger than it has ever been. Will the best fight the best?

Only fight i don't see happening is ward vs dirrell cuz of their friendship. But lots of good fights ahead. Bute vs Froch should be nice.

Wanna see kessler vs abraham too

I wonder what abraham is gonna do. But yeah I agree I dont know if we will ever see Dirrell vs Ward. By the time dirrell gets back on track Ward might have vacated.

Abraham is trying to get back down to 160. Fights Pablo Oscar Farias (Called Pokemon) at a catchweight next month.

I honestly don't see Abraham doing much. He was able to grab a vacant belt and nurse it in Germany by being carefully matched. It was always obvious how to beat him but he got around that by having the title and making the fight come to him. It's going to be harder for him to snatch a title back and play the same game now. He was looking sickly at weigh ins at 160 before he moved up. Coming back down guys always seem to give up power to make it happen. Not hating. Just telling it like I see it.

I like the division now. Quality guys at the top, and a mixture of solid vets and world class prospects filling out the top 10. We've already had some of the top guys face each other, with still more on the horizon. What's not to like?

Yeah just look at The Rings top 10 from numbers 5-10

    Sakio Bika
    Thomas Oosthuizen
    George Groves
    Glen Johnson
    Arthur Abraham
    James DeGale

At 5 you have Bika who has done nothing
Oousthuizen whos biggest win is Pryor jnr
Groves whos biggest win is DeGale
Johnson who has lost more at SMW than won and who biggest win at the weight was a fighter coming off a loss
Abraham who has no big wins at SMW and in his recent venture at the weight has as many losses as wins
    DeGale who lost to Groves

Wow thats impressive, B Magee & K Balzsay have done more at the weight than those fighters there. Oh wait thats not what The Ring mag says

Most will step up as they will lose here and there like it happened in the past with James Toney, more recently with Jean pascal and will happen fo'sure with either Kessler, Froch, Abraham or Bute in the last breath of their careers... The fight I wanted to see is not Bute vs Ward or Froch vs Bute but Ward vs Dirrell and possibly the winner takes it all and the loser steps up as well.
