Two killers at their best. I always have said that the Sanders who fought Wlad was the most dangerous Sanders we ever saw. He was zoned in, trained properly and was a little bit fearful of that Wlad (He was looked at as the best by most) which in my option just made Corrie even more dangerous and alert. The Povetkin that fought Perez and shut him off effortlessly was probably the best Alexander we saw or close to it. That was prime Povetkin. Insanely sharp, strong, quick and his stamina was on point. I think this one would be an absolute barn burner. It won’t take long for **** to kick off in this one as neither is going to take too many backward steps or not fire off with power shots. My pick is The Sniper in four. Probably having to pick himself off the deck once or twice from a couple of nasty Povetkin counters. I think Corrie’s left hand would find the mark too many times and as tough as Povetkin was… he’s not going to recover from that type of impact. Povetkin would make it one of the hardest fights Sanders ever had though.
This is a very interesting match up I could see it being quite explosive with both men hitting the canvas.
Prime Povetkin did not go down unless you were Wlad. I think Alex's greater skills and superb countering wins him this bout in an exciting shootout.
