Im hearing a lot about the decline of American boxing, which I find a bit odd.

The low weights are dominated by Latinos and Asians.
But lets look at light welter up shall we?

    Light Welter.
    Bradley
    Patterson,
    Campbell
Holt and Alexander, who are all world class. You could even throw in Mallignagi and Diaz in to that mix

    Welter
    Mosely
    Mayweather
    Collazo
    Berto
Judah(He could be light welter too)

    Light Middle
    Williams
Foreman(not sure if he counts. He has spent a lot of time in America)
    Spinks
Kirkland(when he gets out of prison!)

    Middle
    Pavlik
    Winky

    Super Middle
    Ward
    Dirrell
    Taylor
    Maybe Greene

    Light Heavy
    Dawson
    Hopkins
    Cloud

    Cruiser
    Cunnigham
    Flores
    Godfrey

    Heavyweight
    Thompson
    Chambers
    Arreola
    Maybe Ruiz

The nation learly has more talent than any other nation still. Its not like Eastern Europeans cant compete anymore.

I think stories of Americas boxing death have been greatly exagerrated.

...and im an Irish guy who just lives here!
