I think this could be a potentially great match up, and could probably be made far easier than Kovalev Stevenson, granted Jay-Z and Haymon aren't too fond of one another, I think something could be worked out, especially since Jay-Z would probably have faith in his man being victorious. Ward isn't tied to HBO like Kovalev is and HBO most likely wouldn't protest too much due to the possibility of Ward capturing the title and bringing home to them to set up a super Light Heavyweight Unification match between Ward and The Krusher.

Ward is the bigger man and most likely more physically powerful with a far better inside game and in my opinion would UD Stevenson with ease, I even think Ward has a chance to win by KO, while he isn't the biggest puncher, his counters are just sharp enough and accurate enough to drop Adonis and possibly TKO him, Ward was rocking Edwin Rodriguez frequently in their fight and he has a damn good chin.

Although all this is most likely wishful thinking but if the match could be made how do you see it playing out.

I see Ward cruising to an easy UD. Stevenson may be the bigger puncher, but Ward has been in boxing long enough to know how to deal with punchers...!!!

But in reality, Ward will probably "win" the event and Stevenson will "win" the fight based on the judges...!!!

There'd be a great Good Vs. Evil subtext for this match.:think

I think there are too many politics in the way of this one.

    80/20 Ward UD.

Ward would just need to adjust to Stevenson's 1-2 and thats about all hes got. Stevenson has a punchers chance tho imo

    Ward by UD.

He might get nailed by Stevenson, but I don't think he will. Stevenson is textbook example of a onehanded fighter and that's the biggest nono you can have against Ward.

I would definitely favor Andre Ward here, strictly based on styles.

I think Ward might even stop Stevenson late.
