Many would argue that Pacquiao has had the most spectacular boxing career in many decades. But how was that possible? How did a poor, ignorant, malnourished, Light Flyweight from a remote island become the most inspirational, influential and revered fighter in a long time?

It's courage. The one thing that cannot be taught. It comes from deep within.

Pacquiao has always displayed that quality. He went to Manila at a young age. Turned pro at 16. Won the Flyweight title by knocking out a flat out elite fighter in his prime. Despite Pacquiao not having the slightest clue as to how to basically box.

Traveled to America on two weeks notice to take on the world's most respected 122 pounder. Was a 40 to 1 underdog and just unleashed a barage of power shots.

Never let up on MAB and coast a decision. Pressed for the finish. Somehow fought Marquez to a draw. Despite at the time being outclassed in technical ability. As well as being the smaller man. Went straight after Erik Morales in his first fight at Superfeatherweight. No tune ups, nothing, just went for Morales.

Met an incoming Ricky Hatton toe to toe once thought to be unthinkable. Never backed down or ceded ground to Cotto. Even letting him get in some power shots to measure his power and see how much opening he could afford to give Cotto. And never panicked when Margarito was pummeling the much smaller man on the ropes.

A man can achieve the impossible through courage. That's why Pacquiao is an inspiration to all of us.

Here's to enjoying Pacquiaos farewell world tour.

Pac better stay far away from Crawford during this 'farewell tour'

For some odd reason , I feel he might actually accept the Crawford fight eventually .

Pacquiao legacy was not only the highlights of him conquering bigger boxers , but how he climbed up
through the ranks and the best Pacquiao was when he fought and beat Barrera , Morales and Marquez .
Remember how great those Mexicans were and those fights were classic. Pacquiao legacy is right there.
