I think he's good for it, as he is essentially boxings Goliath. It's great having a top guy with no losses because it adds incredible drama to his matches. Now if he could only fight guys who have a chance.
boxing forums would be much better, not "without duckweather and his ******ed fans", but with people who respected him and gave him proper due......its not about his fans....its about his haters who antagonize his fans....and people who **** on him because they have a problem with what he does....insecure people
No ONE man is bigger than the sport. Boxing survived w/o Ali Basketball survived w/o Jordan Hockey w/o Gretzky ect..... Boxing will be all right.
Once Floyd retires, it will weed out a lot of casuals (Floyidiots). Boxing world would be much better off.
if people stopped trolling...trying to bait floyd fans into defending him...over stupid stuff....these forums would be great....its so funny to hear people complain about floyd fans on boxing forums....90 percent of the time they are just defending their favorite fighter from a troll who is spitting utter nonsense
floyd fans are casual fans? if anything id say the majority of floyd fans have been hardcore fans before he was even around...if anyone brings "newb" fans and casual fans its pac....thats just reality chief
Believe me, majority of Floyd fans are casuals and most are brainwashed as well Boxing world would be much better off once Floyd is gone and takes them with him
its just stupid to sit there and bag on floyd fans...you have guys who dont like him posting idiotic **** about him daily **** like "does he have any real friends in real life" posting about stupid drama in his personal life....posting stupid threads....calling him chicken, ducker, cherrypicker, ....people constantly everyday trying to tear down his resume....."is calzaghes win over hopkins better than any of floyds wins"....i mean just utter garbage posted on a daily basis before you start going in on floyd fans on boxing forums...take a look at some of the other trash thats around.....most of what floyd fans say is reactionary..
Some *****s would lose their life's purpose and would commit harakiri, others would turn to crack, some of them would go back to where they came from The WWE, others would spend they day stuck in their mother's basement watching Floyd-Baldomir over and over again while listen to ****** Bieber 24/7. **** wont end well for the *****s as it should be.
For the most part he only fights one time per year and wasnt mainstream until he was 30...so I'd say the sport wouldnt suffer much. Remember when Floyd left the sport in 2008 a guy named Pacquiao soon emerged. The sport has a tendency of finding gems. Very few woulda predicted a safety first guy like Floyd or even a short guy from the Phillipines who speaks broken English would sell on PPV. Love them or hate them Floyd and Pac have both help put shine on small guys. The media will always find someone to follow from the boxing world
