Over the past 2 years the majority of fans on here were in agreement that any of these fighters fighting each other needed to happen.

    Martinez
    Lemeiux
    JccJR
    GGG
    Quillin kid Choclolate
    Dimitry Pirog
    Daniel Geale
    Matthew Macklin
    Darren Barker
    Fernando Guerrero
    Danny Jacobs
    Andy Lee
    Felix Sturm
    Sebastien Zbik
    Hassan Ndam Nikan
    Marco Rubio
    Craig McEwan
possibly Pavlik (if he was remaining at 160)
possibly winky (if he was coming back as rhumored on several occasions against macklin)
    Sebastien Sylvester
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Roll on 2012
Sylvester retired after losing to Geale and subsequently Proksa
    Pavlik at 168
    Lemeiux was beaten by Rubio
    Lee beat McEwan
    Pirog beat Jacobs
Fernando Geurerro suffered a shock loss
    JccJr beat Zbik
    Martinez beat Barker
    Sturm beat Macklin
    Martinez beat Macklin
    kid chocolate beat mcEwan
    Rubio beaten by JccJr
    Sturm beat Zbik
    -------------------------------------------------
so now we have had some answerrs - lets say that MCEwan, Zbik, Sylvester, Pavlik, and for now Lemeiux are out of the mix.

    Martinez is lineal champ
Sturm, Geale, and Pirog are the main belt hodlers after that.
with JccJr, GGG and Nikam having some form of secondary titles.

Nowe we have some new contenders
Jermain Teylor is back at 160:bbb
Winky is back to fight Kid Chocolate:happy
Lee is fighting JccJr 2 weeks later:happy
Martinez fights the winner of that fight.:happy
GGG is now rhumored to have a september show down with Pirog:happy
Geale is rhumored to be fighting Sturm:happy

And Danny Jacobs is making a comeback apparently:happy

so now we have a redefined list of contenders with some answers provided. And finally 160 is on its way back to the best fighting the best.

*I may have forgotten one or 2 names"160*
    let the show commence:thumbsup

Just wondering since JT is back now, were Winky to win (which I dont think he will) - we could a have another Winky V Taylor fight at 160?

It's looked good for a while now, good to see were getting the crossroad fights. Some interesting matchups out there.

I think Kid Chocoloate, Lee, Pirog and GGG are definitely willing to fight Martinez.

Not sure about TR letting JccJR near him.
Martinez may have to stay at 160 cause looks like nothing else is going on for him elsewhere.

made a thread about this last year saying that MW will inevitably be back to one of the glamour divisions within a couple years as there are too many capable fighters in the top 20 to avoid fighting one another......fast forward and looks like we're ahead of schedule!! Good ****, glad to see MW back with a force and with all the young talent it's bound to be great for years to come.....of course many will make the move to 168 eventually but there's also a plethora of young talent at 154 ready to move up by then like Alvarez, Trout, Lara, Vanes Martirosyan and potentially some big 147 fighters like Mike Jones, Ortiz, Kell Brook.

Interesting to read Pirog seems willing to drop the WBO belt for the Golovkin fight.
Quillin turned down that fight once already even though he seems to enjoy pretending that Martinez (and everyone else) is scared to death of him. I'll be happy if Lee and Pirog/Golovkin jump him in the eyes of HBO, despite none of those guys benefiting from Golden Boy and Haymon associations. Fighting Grandpa Winky is not nearly as impressive as fighting legitimate top 10 middleweights like the others are doing and should no way be rewarded as such.

Well, no. We have 5 champs, and not one of them has ever fought one of the others.
