Australian Boxing is being kept on life support by Anthony "the man" Mundine, like he did in the past Mundine will have to breath life into Australian boxing to keep it going.

Katsidis is sadly verging on shot, he is a must watch fighter and deserves all the credit in the world despite falling short of true world honours.

Darchinyan is no longer prime, he has one of the greatest attitudes in sport and is a bad winner and a sore loser which a lot of boxers lack in their make up. Respect is overrated.

Danny Green is excelling at his weight class of dannyweight despite not being recognised by any countries this weightclass is surely his, forays against true cruisers resulted in violent KO losses.

Timid Danny Geale is doing alright despite having no charisma, he badly needs Choc to rematch him to get him recognition, the irony of this is that he would also lose his belt (again) to Choc.

Billy Dib, along with Choc is taking his career stateside and I think on his night he can hang with the best.

Basically, Australian boxing is dying, Mundine will land a big fight and bring it back to full health with a much lauded victory in the USA which will pave the way for the likes of Dib to carry on the sport. Get behind "the man", save boxing.

I don't have time to boss the forum like I did in my prime. It certainly descends into garbage threads when I am not around.

Ty I know you have sparred him and so obviously have a better gauge on his talent than most, but I think there is something to be said for an unorthodox style, provided he sticks to a gameplan and doesn't get over awed I see Dib being a tough fight for anyone at the weight. I think he has improved his discipline in his last few fights, you agree?

I agree he has changed his style since i last sparred him, he isnt doing the prince naseme hamed style anymore which wasnt effective for him, sure it puts you off when sparring him but it also makes you laugh. He is boxing alot more these days, using his reflexes but he also lacks power and can barely bust a grape, when it gets heated up for him or there is to much pressure he then starts to cheat by fighting VERY dirty, he wont get away with this in USA.

His last fight he was almost DQL and tbh he should have been, the ref told him off so many times, watch the fight you see the ref pretty much tells him off during the entire fight, he doesnt fight like a champion should be fighting, he fights like a desprate man. Also because of his diet of padding his record it will come back to bite him in the ass the moment he steps it up.

He had twice as many amateur fights as me and was already an experianced pro when we met and he was one of the most easyer spars ive ever had, the only good thing i had to say about him really was that he had VERY fast reflexes, one reason that Mundine used him for a sparring partner.

I sparred Mick shaw the same year i sparred Dib and Mick Shaw was by far the better, stronger fighter, the only reason Dib defeated Shaw is because they gave him 2 weeks to train after he retired from the sport. They wanted his scalp and Shaws trainer is a ****** that took the bait.

Why do you say dib will be the one to carry it on? Do you believe he has the "charisma" to carry the flame?

I think there is a lot to work with when you have fast reflexes. I do agree that he needs to be more aggressive. Although I don't think its always necessary I can understand fighting dirty as it shows a win at all costs mentality. But yes he needs to 'fight' more and not rely on stealing a win.

He's a young champion, if he fights like he can fight I think he can hang with the best.

Trout is a nothing and a nobody. He would get his ass handed to him if he fought Choc.
    * Wood you dunce.

Don't be ridiculous, Geale is known as Sturm fodder.

    Lame brah.
