Kessler's success or lack of will be a significant piece of the puzzle. Calz. legacy allready rose a few notches when Hopkins pummeled Pavlik for 12 rounds without getting tired. Less notable is an upward movement caused by Bika's moving up in the ranks. Don't laugh but if Roy Jones continues, he could surprise some people, he could have beat a lot of top 10 fighters the night he faced Calz.

If Kessler could land a fight with the winner of Froch-Taylor, and get the win, that would be a good name on his resume.
Taylor - I don't see taking a fight with Kessler as it would be tantamount to signing his own death warrant.
Froch - might just have the balls and arrogance to take it.
There's plenty of talent at SMW, someone just needs to start making the right fights.

There was talk a while back of him fighting Hopkins. What happened to that? That would be a good fight imo and winnable for either fighter.

As for Calzaghe's legacy, I think Hopkins win over Pavlik has given it a massive boost. Clearly Hopkins is still a great fighter of the highest calibre even if he is past his very best. Hopkins = Legend.

The Nard preformance over pav defintitely gave Joe's Legacy a boost however.....Nard wasn't in his prime physically....actually pretty far past his physical prime. With a guy like Nard his Cratiness is his greatest attribute...Skills are still there but he's slowed a lot...he's just fast for a 44 yr old. What Nard did to PAV was take advantage of the style he knew was tailor made for him and he put his foot on the GAS!....He could have faught that way with Joe but he respected Joe's ability, style and talent more so he faught too conservative for my taste although he was landing the better more effective punches throughout which made the fight very close. Kessler will be a key componet to how Joe's legacy ends, moreso than what Roy or Nard does.
