Shall we finally gather the entire bunch? They seem to have quite the family business going. From what I can gather:

Reggie Strickland

Reggie Strickland #2

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=25171&cat=boxer

Jerry Strickland

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=306&cat=boxer

Ed Strickland

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=5958

Jay Strickland

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=5223&cat=boxer

Ryan Strickland

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=474048

Robert Strickland

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=191919&cat=boxer

Robert Strickland #2

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=1748&cat=boxer

Not definitely all related but how many similar journeymen can hail from the same area?

If they all came from the same gym I'd have loved to seen the sparring between them.

Reggie should write a book about losing. He'd be a world authority after losing 276 bouts.

If Reggie actully trained to win and fought to win, I think a he'd have many more wins than losses. He would have a lot less fights though, because the folks hiring him need their guy to win. I'm under the impression he can fight, but he sees there is more oppurtunity and money as an opponent.
The rest of his family...My guess is that they suck at boxing.

Oh man! too bad Ed Stickland is a heavy and not a middle, he'd made a perfect machup for Eric Crumble

Reggie was KO'd 25 times lifetime. KO'd in 2 by charlies brewer then went 82 more fights (****ing tons of losses) without any more KO losses.
This 6 year run was during the time commissions started deciding that KO losses would mean a 30 day suspension. Coincidence? I think not.
363 fights against anyone who wanted him in the ring, Reggie was tough and I believe he sandbagged alot because it was easier and more lucrative route. Props to Reggie, he was a baddass.

Here is an example of Reggie winning against previously undefeated guys. So he could fight when he made up his mind

For the exercise, let's average the $400 to $1200 you've stated above out at $800 per fight.

363 fights at $800 means his career earnings would come to $290,400.

Reggies career spanned 18 years. So his average earnings per annum from boxing comes to $16,133.

Most Australians earn 5 to 10 times that amount and never risk the brain injury 363 fights might cause.
