as the semi finals are about to hit later in the year , surely common sense will prevail and teh 2 fights will be in europe....why??

froch has fought once at home

abraham has fought once at home

ward has fought twice at home

now these 3 are the only remaining original contenders in the super 6 series so for fairness they must all be given 2 fights at home.

abraham vs ward should be in germany as ward has not had to travel once

froch vs johnson should be in the uk as johnson is just new to the super 6

the final then should be in the states and hopefully at maddison square garden as its a neutral venue for all fighters

  2. I though I recently heard that it will be in two neutral venues in the us

Johnson will go fight Froch in England "for the right money".

Abraham will probably get a decent paycheck going to Vegas, NYC, Atlantic City (which is the most Ward-neutral US location to me) or LA. I'm sure he knows he has awfully slim chances to win this. It can't be in Oakland... it can't, for credibility's sake. Mind you, I wouldn't know how to quantify how much credibility has been lost by the WBC, WBA, Showtime's S6 officials, Andre Ward's promoter (considering Ward hasn't yet left home in the tourney) and...... Andre Dirrell, combined.

**** Oakland, but it's not that Ward would need homecooking anyway, so why not fight abroad?

No way does the Ward camp go to Germany and lose the ability to hit AA in the body. AA's entire way of fighting is based on being ref-protected every place his arms don't cover.

Johnson has been on the losing side of so many close cards that I expect it to happen again, regardless of the venue.

A double-header in Atlantic City would be my preference.

Any of you seen 360? One of the fighters said they are bound by contract to fight in the states.

Still, Hennessy's been lobbying to have Froch fight in England.
