    Really disappointed about this tournament.

Let me put some things straight first: I think Ward and Dirrell 'deserved' their wins because they were the better men, but I didn't like the way they got their wins.
In my opinion, Dirrell pulled a Michalczewski (faked the KO). Of course, nobody but Dirrell can be certain about this. But to be fair he wouldn't have got the opportunity to act if Abraham wouldn't have punched him when he was down. I also think Abraham knew very well what he was doing and acted out of frustration.

I don't wanna argue about the outcome of Dirrell-Froch again here, but it's very clear that it was controversial, and the SD decision reflects this.

Out of the 4 fights that happened in this tournament, three were controversial:

-Abraham-Taylor: No controversy here, you can't win a fight any clearer than by KO. But let me play the devils advocate here: what would have happened if Taylor had gone the distance? Up until the KO, this was a close fight in many peoples eyes.
-Froch-Dirrell: terrible fight with a controversial decision. Many thought that Dirrell got robbed.
-Kessler-Ward: hometown ref, and intentional headbutts by Ward. Worst thing is, Ward didn't have to use his dirty tactics to win the fight...
-Abraham-Dirrell: another incompetent ref. Lowblows by Dirrell. Dirrell KD by Abraham in the 10th was ruled a slip. Big foul by Abraham punching Dirrell when he was down. Dirrell acting. DQ outcome.

I don't know if I'll even bother to watch the other fights..

I agree with all your points except the Abraham v Taylor fight. Abraham was well ahead on the cards in that fight.

You can replace " the super six tournament" portion of your thread title with "boxing" because that's just how this sport is. So if you aren't going to watch the rest of it you should probably give up the sport entirely.

Abraham/Taylor has been the only clean cut fight, I had Abraham up on points anyway.
The officiating and judging of the rest has been a joke!

It's true that Abraham was well ahead on all cards. And most people saw it the same way. But that opinion was far from universal.
Many viewers, especially in the US, had the fight very close, and I guess there would have been discussions about the outcome if the fight had gone the distance. So it's a good thing the KO happened.

If you don't want to deal with this stuff, go find another sport to follow.

And are you ****ing kidding me about the low blows? Either Abraham's nutsack is 8 inches higher than it is on any other male in the world, or the ref actually made the right call by not calling the punches low.

Abraham always fights the same way. He was loosing the first couple of rounds in the Taylor fight but by the second half of the fight the tides were changing and we all know Taylor doesnt get better as the fight progresses. I do think Dirrell put on his acting shoes but the win was well deserved im glad AA got DQ'd. I bet you anything if Dirrell wouldnt have done that the fight would have continued with AA possibly getting away with a warning when in fact that hit was INTENTIONAL. Are you a fan of basketball? Soccer? it happens all the time its called strategy.

showtime, which are the ones with the dollars, should be more involved in the super six, in some sort of commision-esque way.

with a league structure and points up for grabs, everyone is trying to give their fighter some sort of advantage.

it was totally disgracefull, when it came to ward and dirrell´s fights at home, with local referees.

the direll-froch fight was close, no biggie there, history is full of such decisions

1/3 of Armenian males have Enscrotal Bellybuttonium. A genetic disorder that AA has. I'm sorry to make you look stupid, but their last census clearly shows this is true. ...They ask on all the censuses.

I thought it was a great concept. And there have been some controversies but that's boxing man.

We got to see some great matchups and there is more to come. So I'm glad that this thing even happened.

I can't say for sure what happened to Dirrell, I don't believe he was acting, but I do think there was a good chance of him getting KO'd in those last two rounds. The two US based fights have both stunk, for all sorts of reasons

Well, at least we all finally get the quality match ups that we longed for. Another good thing is that at this stage of competition the fighter who is on the wrong end of a decision can still redeem himself with an impressive performance.
