    Update this thread when there are great/good fights coming up in this division.
    I will start here for the potential fights lined up.

    George Groves vs Kenny Anderson 16th Mar 2012
    Arthur Abraham vs Piotr Wilczewski 31st March 2012
    Robert Steiglitz vs Mikkel Kessler 14th April 2012
    Kelly Pavlik vs Scott Sigmon 14th April 2012
    James DeGale vs Cristian Sanavia 21st April 2012
    Karoly Balzsay vs Dimitri Sartison 21st April 2012
    Lucian Bute vs Carl Froch 26th May 2012


    That looks a good run to me. Except for the Pavlik/Sigmon fight, all of the others look good match ups.
    Balzsay/Sartison looks very even. I included the Pavlik fight as the Pavlik situation is of interest.

    I think the wins go Groves beats Anderson, Wilczewski beats Abraham, Steiglitz vs Kessler is a tough call as I think Kessler may have dipped and Steiglitz improved. I think the safe bet is Kessler still. Pavlik obviously, DeGale beats Sanavia, Balzsay beats Sartison and Bute beats Froch.

    Sakio Bika vs Henry Buchanan 17th May 2012

    I would guess that Bikas rough tough style wins this one, probably on points

    Pavlik is now rumored to fight as soon as 31 Mar 2012. Probably somewhere between MW and SMW.

    Abraham - obvious
    Kessler - obvious
    Pavlik - obvious
    DeGale - obvious
    Sartison - obvious
    Froch - underdog but possible IMO. Gutsy call for someone who's not primarily a Froch fan.

    A lot of peeps on here would take you up on an avi bet. I've already committed to one. :deal :thumbsup

    Thats debateable with Ward ducking Bute

    After Ottke retired the fights happend, as you had Calzaghe undefeated world champ, Kessler undefeated world champ, Lacy undefeated world champ and Beyer 3 time world champ and the unifications and fights got made

    Why do you say obvious to Abraham beating Wilczewski? Abraham hasnt done well at SMW and Wilczewski isnt a mug.
    Also did you see how tough Groves/Anderson 1 was?
    I also feel that Sartison/Balzsay is a good even match up. I favour Balzsay slightly for that one, but its not a confident guess

    The Pole is not KO'ing AA. Sauerland gets him whatever decision.

    Ditto for Groves, he's not losing a decision to Anderson. Too big a step back if it happens.

    Sartison is on the comeback, Balzsay on his way out. Isn't this an in-house SES fight? There you go.

    In all fairness to Cristian Sanavia he has a chance to pull off an upset, I feel like Frank doesnt really give a **** about Degale and seems to be throwing him into the deep

    First the Groves fight
    then Piotr Wilczewski
    now Sanavia?

    Former WBC Champion ( beat Markus beyer via SD, lost the return by KO)
    Fought Danillo Hausler twice (Loss MD and a Draw)
    Fought Karo Murat twice ( Loss UD, Loss TKO 10 )

    Sanavia is no more than a strong Euro fighter but at least Degale isnt fighting tomato cans, gotta give the dude respect

    Meanwhile Groves is rematching Kenny Anderson . . . . :patsch

    Abraham was still able to Tag Froch and Ward, all be it too little too late and Knock out Taylor and Dirrel (even though it was ruled a DQ :lol: ). Im picking Abraham to win by late knockout seeing how Degale was able to hit him and going with the knockout loss to curtis stevenson i think it was?

    As for Sartison Balzsay im going with the Sartison, Balzsay has been scraping past at world level for some time now and I think its just going to be an easy night for the former champion, but thats just an educated guess
