The Super middleweight division is looking at its weakest in years

Forget Calzaghe please. He is head and shoulders above anyone at SMW ever.
Girard, Hilton, Brewer and Catley I said have done more than many not most, of the S6 at SMW and im correct. All those guys have won world titles and competed with world rated SMWs yet Dirrells biggest win is over a former MW (not SMW) champ by DQ , Green, I dont need to say anymore , Johnson couldnt compete at SMW years ago losing to Sheika even

So Calzaghe ruled and at one time there was 3 undefeated SMWs Calzaghe, Lacy and Kessler, with Joe considered the weakest link, yet Joe beat them both.
Now tell me one active American SMW with a better resume overall resume than Lacy in the division? You cant.
Calzaghe ruled with Beyer, Ottke, Mitchell who have all done more than any of the Super 6 fighters and guys like Woodhall, Reid etc have done more than most of them at SMW.
Kessler Calzaghe beat when he was undefeated and not suffering double vision, and Kessler was the pre tournament favourite, now front runner Ward is feasting on left overs with Bute

Thankyou for reading the post and understanding, many on here dont. The only way some of these fools would understand is if 14 losses 2 draws Johnson or previously beaten Bika won. Not that I would want that to happen because then the division would be at a bigger low than I already fear

Forget Calzaghe he was a dominant champ that is unfair to include.

B Mitchell had beaten Liles the #1 SMW for his title, beat future WBA SMW champ Siaca, drew with 2 weight champ Girard Ring #3 SMW at one time and only lost by SD away to Girard looking unlucky, he also looked unlucky against Ottke. So consider that Mitchell was the away fighter, tell me who in the S6 has done more than Mitchell?

M Beyer was a 3 time WBC champ with names like Lucas, and undefeated D Green & Woodhall on his resume.

R Woodhall to really give you an example beat Branco the future WBA LHW champ who was recently a good enough challenger for Pascal all those years later, Catley the future WBC champ, Malinga the WBC champ and Nardiello the world rated former champ. Now who active in the S6 except for possibly Froch has a deeper resume or is on the verge of achieveing one?

R Reid beat Nardiello away and beat Wharton a tough world rated challenger, along with future MW champ Cherifi and looked very unlucky against Ottke not to mention beating undefeated B Magee who is now European champ and WBA mandatory. Not many in the S6 have come as far.

Even if you look at a fighter like M Veit he has accomplished more at SMW than Ward.

So how is it deeper. Its more shallow if anything, when someone who has done as little as Dirrell is so highly rated or that a former MW whio didnt beat anyone of note is instantly highly rated in the division.

Bute has no better resume than Lacy but he is considered top man of the division.
Wards only win is over an unwell double vision suffering already beaten fighter in Kessler and he is considered 2nd best atsch
