Well, where to begin ? We just had a big ol yarn about the boxing and a few other things we know off outside of the ring etc and i thought, THIS MAN NEEDS A RESPECT THREAD !!!! As many will know hes out in Malta now and at peace with himself and keeping a few fighters busy. Hes also got a book in the making which am sure as many will know, wont be a snoozer, given the career and life he has led. Anyways, i will never forget that first fight with Moore, at three days notice !!! Have never asked but am pretty sure he was in there to put a name on Moores record......oh how they got it wrong. Always taking on anyone and everyone, Moore again, Arnie, Rhodes then Macklin at the back end of his career, THATS respect !!!! Canna find the Moore fights on youtube  Anyways, he says he will pop on if he gets the time. Cheers :good
Yeah remember that fight. trench war. Bit to early for Moore. Dixon was a real fighter and i remember the final few shots. Moore was always known having wars and this was one. He did so well to get back on track after this fight because many a fighter wouldn't of done. Dixon was a good fight back in the day. Deserves big props for that win!
met him on a bus one year after a new years party in motherwell, nice bloke from what i can remember lol, think the bird he was with was impressed with all the boxing talk, he wasnt for havin the "coming out of retirement" carry on though, then i got off the bus and left my mobile phone on it atsch so scott if your reading this, a want it back lol:rasta
I was living out in malta last summer, met him out one night. Nice guy... His gym looks quite tidy too...
scott book should be very colourful if he tells all the things that were going on,could have been better if he could have stayed away from all the **** that brought him spiraling down
He's got my respect fella!! We only fought the once though pal, never got chance to try and reverse it coz after i won the British, i said i wanted my 1st defence against Scott but he'd lost his last fight over in Denmark so he had to get a win in. So they matched him with Marcus Portman and he boxed terrible and lost on points. Anyway, as said big respect to him, he was one tough hombre. Taught me a right lesson!!:good
Ah ha, i wondered at this maself, regarding the supposed second battle, then i started getting confused with ya jones trilogy and ma memorys shot to **** anyways. Appreciate the clearup there bro and i hope alls going well for ya. Just wish i was good at this tech stuff, i have every FFN etc from 1999 - 2003ish on video, so many great British battles that could be on youtube. Anyways, cheers :good
