Originally Kessler was my pick and favorite to win(still has a fair chance). He actually suprised me with the amount of heart and character shown against Froch. What a great ****ing fight.

At first I was impartial to both Ward and Dirrell. Wards performances have been poor, relying on cheap dirty tactics instead of his true boxing ability(Despite his success). Whereas Dirrell has been constantly improving. Before the tourney Dirrell was just a master at making you miss, and look utterly horrible in the process. But since the tourney Dirrell has been making people pay and pay dearly. Alot can be made of the mental states of both Andres merely based on their fighting styles of late. From being around boxing my entire life I can tell you that Ward is fighting with a shitload of fear. Ask yourself "Why does a skilled versatile fighter all of a sudden start fighting like Ricky Hatton?" 1) No chin confidence 2) No confidence in his own boxing ability. These two reasons is why we're seeing a different Ward from the one that schooled Miranda. Dirrell on the other hand is on a different plane nowadays. Just watching his first two fights in the tourney this is apparent. Dirrell is realizing how good he really is. He knows he's faster than you. He knows he's smarter than you. And he dares you to throw first. So for those that think that because Ward had an easy time with a "stare at my feet, ******* blown out" Allen Green that it somehow means Dirrell will allow that bull****, you're in for a revelation when the two meet.

Jermain Taylor should've stayed in the tourney. He really did'nt look too bad till he got KTFO. The only straight AA threw all night caught him. Just Taylors luck. I had him down 3pts at the time of the KO.

At the start I really hated Carl Froch. He was just too mouthy and unproven. He looks like a goofy **** as well. But now I don't mind him. I thought Dirrell cleanly and thoroughly outboxed him. But he showed me alot with the Kessler fight. I had Froch losing by 2 points but it was a great fight and a FAIR score. Still, if he was crossing the street in front of me I'd probably still hit the gas. I do give him a better chance than most against AA though.

Bika or George Groves(I said it!!)should've replaced Taylor. Green will go nowhere.....

Ultimately I pick Dirrell to win the tourney. From the onset of the tourney he's shown me to be the fighter with the most skills, versatility and intelligence. But most importantly his confidence has elevated and he's improving faster than any of the others. Thats scary:admin

As far as other fighters that have improved significantly: Carl Froch. The lesson Dirrell gave him was apparent when he fought Kessler. Lets face it Kessler should've boxed Froch CLEANLY. Froch is getting better.. and AA has his work cut out for him. Froch stopping AA would'nt suprise me THAT much:D

Thats all for now.....Thanks for reading and please share your own thoughts:good

so ward boxes the way he does because of lack of chin confidence lol are serious
he boxes that way becaise he has the mentasl ability to know what he has to do. just like hopkins.

you shouldnt have stated you been round boxing your whole life either, id hate to have been where you are.

george groves to neter the competition when he ha had around 12 fights

he is good but give him time

    GTFOH

This is my point Mr. Boxing. Ward hasnt really boxed in 2 fights. If you think thats boxing then I'm reminded of why I post on other forums where the people actually have abit of boxing knowledge. And despite all of Hopkins' leading with his head he on his worst days "boxes" more than Ward has done lately. Next time son if you don't have anything intelligent to say GTFOH. :deal

Kessler may be able to do it

    Ward is everybodys pick

Dirrel if he doesnt get eliminated has a chance

Froch is tough and throws alot of punches

Abraham hard to hit and dangerous for all 12

I dont know if im crazy but I feel Kessler has a better shot vs Ward if they rematch

1st fight Ward was a dark horse Prospect untested not much tape no struggles

Kessler could not have been overly prepared game plan wise
also he was on top probably lost some of that fire

his last fight he fought tough like an underdog and won

Kessler now has more tape of him was in the ring for 11 rounds with him maybe he can get the rematch in his back yard

Ward won vs Kessler yes but i wanted to see if hed progress more then he fights Green that fight cant tell you too much about Ward is it possible he pulls a Kessler and gets too comfy on top

I look forward to Dirrel Ward to answer some questions

yes he headbutts now and again but so does hopkins aswel as evander and many other fighters over the years he isnt the first and wont be thye last to.

tell me why george groves should have been in the tournament?

    sakio bika is good alternative

how can that not be classed as boxing?

clearly you dont have any boxing knowledge

Most fighters including Kessler don't how to deal with somebody who leads with their head and grapples on the inside. Ward didnt do it before his fight with Kessler so Kessler didnt expect it. Kessler probably thought Ward would actually fight. How is it that halfway intelligent people are ignoring the obvious??:think You need quick reflexes and constant lateral movement to deal with that dirty bull****. Kessler is quite a stationary fighter so the outcome in hindsight is easy to understand. So don't expect Kessler to beat Ward EVER. If Ward boxed Kessler might have a chance. But he won't he's got a chin and a belt to protect now.

Ever seen George Groves fight? I give him a better shot than Green. Most that have seen him would agree.

Ward fights alot like Pernell Whitaker use too, and Whitaker had alot of headbutts in his fights. Its not because they are dirty fighters its because they like to get inside punches. 98% of fighters will pull back or try and block shots, fighters like Ward and Whitaker try to get inside shots and that puts them in position for headbutts because most fighters come forward as they throw punches. when you have both fighters moving forward you get headbutts.

I have noticed that European fans like to say that Ward is dominating the super-six because of headbutts, dirty stuff and homecourt. But the truth is he has dominated the two fighters he faced because he is better then they were. This is the worst case for European fans who at the start of this thing thought that he would end with the european fighters showing that they were clearly the best, and what it turned into is the two young American fighters are showing that they are the best. Dirrell is getting a push from you guys because he was robbed and has a lost to Froch, had that fight gone to Dirrell you wouldnt be behind him, you would be bashing him they way that you bash Ward.

There went your credibility on here.......I can here a echo down there.....Comparing Sweet Pea to Ward should have you ****ing shot. Theres isnt the slightest bit of similarity there. Own yourself and post a highlight of Sweet Pea, then post "highlights" from Ward-Green....Then we can all talk about how "alike" they are.
