The guys been out for close to two years

    Two years of prime

Regardless, he's still going to beat anyone in his path

Hell, if the legendary Joe Calzaghe was still around, i could see him beating him too

It's Kesslers time to shine, and shine he will

He'll be P4P top 5 when this tournaments done and dusted

Kessler's last fight was October 2008. That's less than one year ago.

You're right, he hasn't had much activity of late due to promotional problems, and no big fight since Calzaghe. This is his chance to come back.

Yes, it is Kessler's time to shine, but re: teh Calzaghe comment. A, Calzaghe already beat him and B, if Calzaghe were still around, he'd only lose to Kessler because of age. Otherwise, go Kessler!

    :good agreed

Calzaghe, what a legend. Will be a long long time before we produce another fighter so talented

I really hope Kessler does well in this tournament, he deserves to be recognized as THE best 168 pounder.

I disagree: Kessler has a sylistic disadvantage in this tournament. Andre Ward is very similar to Joe Calzaghe. Kessler is going to lose that one. I also can see Carl Froch beating Kessler, because of his longer reach. Andre Dirrell is fast enough to give Kessler big problems. Kessler fights in straight lines, and Dirrell has excellent lateral movement.

But Kessler destroys Abraham and Taylor.

:nut How is Ward anything like Calzaghe? Aside from Kessler been a polished all round fighter who ticks most of the boxes and Carl Froch having to many flaws to mention, do you care to share how you came to the conclusion that Froch beats him solely for having a 1.5" rech advantage?

Kessler beats everyone who is out in front of him! :bbb

Surely his performance in this Tournament will go a long way towards determining whether or not he deserves to be recognized as THE best 168 pounder. At the moment the jury is still out.
