Froch withdrawing from the October 2nd date is discouraging, but as Rafael points out Showtime has not pulled the plug on the tournament just yet and was even advertising the now extremely unlikely 9/25 date for Ward-Dirrell just last Friday.

Some fickle fans (*cough, Decebal, cough*) seem to want to "stick a fork" in the Super Six but I say phooey! Let's keep an optimistic mindset and operate under the assumption that both fights will go forward at postponed dates.

Ward vs. Dirrell and Froch vs. Abraham are both terrific match-ups for vastly different reasons, and it would be best for everyone (the boxers, the fans, the promoters, and the network) if they are able to go through with them, preferably by the end of the year if possible.

Let's "act as if" and continue to debate how these match-ups play out when (not if) they happen. :deal

One of the S6 Semifinal should be FOTY worthy. I think both are gonna be great, entertaining fights. Rafa vs Juanma is the only fight coming up that I think could rival them. Dam I hope these guys can save this year of boxing LOL.
