Surely getting Yarde to back up with the ear muffs on, throwing single pity patty counters in return, has to be the type of tactical genius we have not seen in a long while.

Standing there like a lemon as Benavidez whales away at you to body and head, as you whisper Lions in the camp to yourself ranks right up there.

Not using your superior strength to make it a physical encounter, pure 3D chess. Not throwing a single power punch when you are getting weighed in on because the opponent has nothing to fear in return, pure 3D chess

It ranks up there in British boxing folklore with the time when fat Mick done his house on Hughie to beat Parker, only for Hughie to run away all night and stick a jab out there that missed the target. Then claim he won the fight.

This type of genius deserves its own thread. Is there anything that comes close?

Its an interview that has everything.

From the WTAF is going statement, to accusation of corruption, to the claims of "Shades of Ali", to young Hughie beating AJ and Wilder on the same night. Absolute comedy genius from Mick.
