I find it absolutly unbelievable any time that I hear Hatton fans complain about Cortez in the Mayweather fight and in the same breath say that Dave Parris was fair and unpartial in the Kostya Tzyu fight. Just curious how everyone sees both of these fights.

Cortez was fair but Paris was biased.

Both were biased, Cortez was the worst of the two.

I dunno after rewatching those fights it is pretty terrible that boxers are allowed to get away with anything. I dont think mayweather should be allowed to duck that low or use his elbows like he does. I dont think it is being defensive at all but Hatton deserved what he got for being a cheat himself. A dirty fighter always gets beaten by a dirtier fighter.

    Excellent thread Woo........

While I feel both refs possess vastly different styles and levels of tolerance Mr. Parris is boderline WWF while Cortez can make his presence known a bit to much. It's fair to say I think they both are quite contraversial though from a boxing puirist standpoint I rather fight with Cortez in the ring.......this is boxing and not mud wrestling.
