Vitali was willing to fight on beyond 7. Lewis was definately not prime against Bruno for sure, pretty beatable fighter at the time. You need to decide whether he was prime before Emanual Steward or after.

 

Wilder has 40 fights on his resume, does it mean he is ready to fight Joshua and Fury given that he has not fought any meaningful opponent. Vitali only got better after the Lewis fight to be honest so to say he was in his prime is not correct.
