Wilder is regarded as a joke precisely because he hasn't stepped up to fight the top names in the division yet. At this stage of his career it's expected of him to be seeking out the bigger names, the bigger fights and the more dangerous opponents. If he's not ready to fight the top level heavyweight now he never will be.
barely, they are both playing for the same team, trying to pass off weak defences as legit or great. I'd agree that AJ is probably a little better H2H, being of a higher amateur pedigree and having risen faster.
Unlike Bruno Vitali was shouting, screaming and pleading for the fight to go on just like a true warrior.
He has to step up to the likes of Parker, Povetkin, Dylian Whyte, David Haye and co in order to improve his chances of landing an AJ and Fury fight. That is how it is done, you beat extremely credible opponents to improve your chances of getting the man at the top.
This is an earlier quote of yours -
I personally abhore inhuman fighters who are willing to destroy another fighters life and are willing to do anything in the world and then not show basic sportsmanship at the end of the fight when the opponent fighter has put up a very tough fight and show.
Are two people using your account? Vitali was a fine example of not accepting a loss and showing poor sportmanship if you want to whinge and whine down that road. The fight was 100% legitimately stopped and he wouldn't accept it. Sure he would be disappointed but that is the way boxing sometimes rolls. You need to start applying your own set of rules, as ridiculously weird as some of them are, to all fighters not just selected ones. Tyson bites off Holyfield's ear yet Holyfield is the fighter at fault. Desiree is at fault for the Tyson assault. Tyson pushes that he ko'd Douglas as part of his travelling roadshow yet Lewis is singled out talking about his losses and wins. Vitali is a warrior for showing poor sportmanship but Lewis is pathetic for lesser actions. The list just goes on and on and on...... Maybe some treatment is in order. If you aren't already you might just end up on one of those psycho stalkers of famous people lists for your downright disturbing stalking of Lewis across all social platforms.
Nope, i am applying rules consistently, Vitali was robbed, the cut was caused by a glove strapping on Lewis's glove, then there was a clash of heads and then there was a punch. Vitali should have been rewarded a technical victory and Lewis ran away from the rematch. Vitali wanted the fight to go on and he was determined to fight on with one eye. Holyfield was at his cheating peak in those 2 fights with his elbows, headbutts, low blows and kicks to the groin. Tyson could only take so much. In any case the ear bites were easily repairable. Trying to permanently blind someone in the eye was not and for that Lewis showed extremely poor sportsmanship. There are many documentaries on this so for Desiree being singled out is not my fault if there are too many irregularities and inconsistencies in the story. There is a difference, Lenni still takes cheap shots and insults Rahman to this day. Tyson atleast does not get personal with Douglas. Lewis was the one behaving like the loser and showing poor sportsmanship "Look at the state of his face, he was my mandatory, i gave him a chance to fight but i am not fighting him again, bring on his brother, i will have him for lunch" The list just goes on and on and on...... I dont need to stalk Lenni, he posts about his fights each and every day trying to remind people about his victories, justifying his defeats, insulting opponents. Actions of a man trying to stay relevant.
Nah, in that fight he quit on his stool due to a severe injury. But in this fight he wanted to go on.
He quit with an injury that other fighters have continued with Buddy McGirt for example.Danny Williams fought on through the pain of a dislocated shoulder to ko his opponent,Ali Abraham, Kevin Finnegan, all continued with broken jaws.Stop with the "true warrior " BS, it isn't applicable to Vitali!
A fighter can be a true Warrior on a particular night i.e. Ruddock against Tyson. Lenni was ripe for the taking and there was no way Vitali was going to let that opportunity pass. You can't compare a broken jaw to a dislocated shoulder, you need your shoulder to punch the opponent.
