Vitali didn't have a dislocated shoulder ,he had a torn rotator cuff ,the same injury McGirt had when he went the distance with Pernell Whitaker. Danny Williams fought Mark Potter with a dislocated shoulder ,gritted his teeth ,ignored the pain ,and ko'd Potter.

So a fighter willing to fight on even risking permanent blindness in his eye is not a warrior?

A fighter who made all his remonstrations AFTER the fight was over.

Vitali was making a show of it - AFTER he knew it was over. Before that he was wishing for an early bath, he looked wasted.

and so - you dont think HW champion Frank Bruno is a warrior? not a keyboard one like you.

Nope, a genuine show of emotion and anger by Vitali. Bruno collapsed everytime he got hit in the face so no.

No, Bruno's problem was when he got tagged he didn't have the instinct to clinch .You really don't know much about this game do you?

a genuine show of release of joy at the irretrievable end of the fight, masked with a pretence of aggression, preceded by hm buttoning his lip in case he got the rest of his face ripped off

The only person vitali had a right to be angry with was himself for defending so poorly.

and yet still did much better than vitali - do you like ruining your own arguments?

That is part of not being able to take a punch very well i.e. you get hit and you just lose it. Every fight he lost, he lost because of a punch to the face

The reception he got from the crowd tells everything in comparison to Lewis who was jeered and booed.

Well there is no doubt Lewis did poorly in that fight against Bruno prior to that lucky punch.

he was cheered for being the unknown who tried.

The decision to stop the fight was booed.

    Again you are wrong.

He was cheered for being the real winner in that fight. Ofcourse the decision to stop the fight was booed along with the decision to award the fight to Lewis and his post fight conduct.

That's not cast in stone whatsoever. Thomas Hearns is just one fighter who had to learn to clinch and clinch well when hurt. He ended up damn good at it and got out of trouble numerous times thereafter.

Hard work and correct tuition would likely have seen Bruno improve this aspect of his game.

I remember him protesting WHILE the doc was deciding to end it.

by you yes. that is all.

the decision to stop the fight was booed because people feel shortchanged. That is reasoning, not "along with this" invented theories of yours.
