The tale of TKO6: Lewis vs Klitschko

Lets just be thankful Lewis didn't resort to wimping out by biting a lump of Vitali's ear off or somesuch.....we would never hear the last of it ( excuse the pun ).

 

That wasn’t fair though because Lennox concentrated on the cut.

 

Lewis had nothing in the gas tank to knock Vitali out with who has never been knocked out ever in his entire career and there is nothing to prove that Lewis could do it on the night after round 6 when his gas tank was low. It was Lewis who was extremely lucky that the fight was stopped in R6 because he would have been very vulnerable for the rest of the fight.

 

Maybe punching Vitali on the jaw, face, nose instead of just focusing on the cut so that the fight can be stopped due to the cut as oppossed to the sexier option of knocking the opponent out cold.

 

Are you for real? The things you come up with to try and discredit Lewis in every way, shape and form known to man are absurd.

What next, Lewis shouldn't have been punching so hard because he was cut? Yet you love and adore Tyson who utilized all sorts of crap, including biting part of an opponents ear off in the ring!!!!! Jesus H.

 

So in posts one minute apart you firstly tell us Lewis was no chance of stopping Vitali but then straight away bag the living hell out of Lewis for banging the cut to stop the fight when he should have been trying to knock him outcold?

the cut was caused by lewis punches, genius.

lewis was doing a favour to vitali by not covering his whole body in bruises and damage.

 

I have never seen Tyson punch someone deliberately in the eye when the opponent has a very bad cut potentially causing blindness.

 

Banging the cut was Lewis's cowardly way of trying to get the fight stopped rather than trying to KO Vitali fair and square in other ways. Trust me had Lewis badly TKO'd Vitali or even KO'd him then i would give him all the credit in the world.

 

Lewis was banging that eye for 3 plus rounds but Vitali was standing there. Based on what i saw, Vitali was definately going to keep on fighting and potentially Koing or stopping a gassed out Lewis in the other rounds.

 

When have you seen Tyson fighting someone with a terribly cut eye?

There you go calling Lewis a coward again. You bag Lewis for anything and everything. Here you are bagging him for targeting a cut when it is professional boxing 101 and has done thousands of times throughout history.

As stated your boy Tyson bit a guys ear off because he wasn't having his way in there. If Lewis did this you'd be posting thread after thread about it saying what a gutless wonder he was and an animal and god knows what else. You would utterly ridicule him and rightfully so!

 

My reasons to dislike Lewis will take the thread to numerous other places. Tyson bit Holyfields ear due to Holyfields cheating with his head butts, kicks in the groin, knee's e.t.c.

I personally abhore inhuman fighters who are willing to destroy another fighters life and are willing to do anything in the world and then not show basic sportsmanship at the end of the fight when the opponent fighter has put up a very tough fight and show.

 

You are defending Tyson biting Holyfields ear half off - incredible. He also bit Lewis on the leg at a press conference and said the most vile of things but this is ok by you of course. You are playing two sets of rules.

Your second claim is one you are moulding to try and fit your anti Lewis agenda. You are grasping at anything you think you can make fit.

Vitali and Lewis get on superbly and say the most complimentary things of each other. It's a shame so many fans are still so butt hurt really.
