Given the amount of fouling and dirty tactics Holyfield was doing in the fight and getting away with so blatantly, i can understand Tyson's frustrations and anger, obviously didn't support the ear bite. Tyson needed to sell the Lewis fight as much as possible as he needed as much money as possible as he was heavily in debt. Tyson and Holyfield are even more complimentary with each other. I just find it funny how Lewis still to this day goes out of his way to justify the Vitali result and why he did not rematch him. Someone like Tyson will not be required to ask those questions.
Tyson was a dirty fighter as well. He could dish it out but not take it back. Most fighters weren't good enough to give it back but Holyfield was. Live by the sword die by it. If that's selling a fight i can do without it. I just watched a clip of the promotion and it's a disgrace LOL
If Tyson would commit 1 foul, Holyfield would commit 30, the likes of Dokes, Foreman, Lewis, Byrd, Rahman, Qawi will testify to his well disguised headbutting tactics.
Not arguing Holyfield isn't a dirty fighter but Tyson is no angel either. Excusing Tyson in any way, shape or form for biting his ear off is lame imo.
OMG! Do people not know Tyson had been on a strict diet? Those diet munchies can strike at the most inopportune time!
You really don't have a clue about professional boxing, do you ? Hurt an opponent and then press that advantage to get a stoppage = cowardly ? Stick to synchronized swimming or maybe tiddlywinks.
It's why he's on ignore for me now. There is no discussion to be had with him. He wants to hate on Lewis and no amount of facts or history can prove him wrong in his own mind. I don't need the aggravation of listening to it.
End of the day, i don't think Lewis, with all of his millions in the bank would be overly concerned by some nobody attempting to tarnish his name on the internet. Tbh he would probably feel pity for him.
