K im going to tell you what rummy with not even listening to the video, Bradley will win it, but get robbed on the cards.....
Without trying to give the plot away this early in the thread, I will simply state that this possibility is indeed considered. :smoke
Stylisticlly Pacquiao will always be too much and a wrong fit for Bradley, Bradley looked stellar against Rios because Rios was shot to ****, its just an unintentional perfect matchmaking case of smoke and mirrors similar to the Cotto reborn under Freddie bull****. Teddy can motivate Tim all he wants, he's not going to better prepare him for Manny who he's yet to even come close to beating in spite of the first fight. That being said, I think its a possibility that Arum might throw Manny under the bus for his anti-gay comments and let the judges rob him again, since Manny at this point is turning into an economic liability for Arum. It could also be a draw, to preserve a Pac-Canelo showdown, crazier things have happen. And we can't forget the possibility of Manny's shoulder giving out or Bradley's ankles giving out again and it ending in a TKO for either of them, and let's not forget Tim's recent harbingers or a failing chin. Pacquiao may very well get the KO this time.
I thought Bradley looked great in his last fight. I think if he fights smart and follows his new training he will beat Pacquiao easily.
I'm almost sure that Pac's only chance is a KO/TKO and we all know Bradley's not gonna allow that to happen. Pac's light has already faded out. He has "no use" for Arum and Vegas already.
I disagree. Bradley, while I had him losing both fights (the first by a wider margin, ironically), proved he could be competitive with Pac. Even in the first fight, which I think I scored 118-110 for Pacquiao - Bradley was competitive in most rounds, and was actually "winning" a lot of them about 2/3 of the way through. That doesn't mean Bradley will win, but I think with some slight adjustments he could - and I'd add that I think Bradley is closer to his peak form than Pacquiao is to his own.
I think Bradley is shot to bits and will look just as bad as he did against Chaves and the last round against Vargas. The Rios match didn't change anything in my mind, he was slightly better than before but that had everything to do with Rios looking like absolute death warmed over, Pacquiao would have stopped that version of Rios earlier IMO. There is a big possibility that a shell of Manny will show up as well, so I'm not writing off Timmy entirely, and as far as I what I said about him being stylistically too much for Tim, I meant it in the way that you described, Tim is good and has his moments but ultimately Manny always proves to be just a little too much for Bradley to overcome.
Thanks Pimp, and I tend to agree with your last point and failed to mentioned something I meant to say, which was that this fight does give me a similar vibe as Pac-JMM 4. I thought it was pointless, and it wound up being the most exciting and decisive fight of the series. Hoping it's good. Much to my surprise, a few of my friends contacted me and planned on getting the fight - and I wouldn't have imagined they were the type of people who were even aware this fight was taking place.
I think this fight will be pretty good and competitive.its hard to pick a winner though because pacquiao is clearly not as good as he once was add to that the shoulder injury and long lay off and with bradley we just don't know how much he's improved under teddy atlas.so many questions I cant wait for saturday.
This. I too see people getting carried away with Teddy the same way many fans got carried away with Roach. Rios was like Geale in this equation. It was more of the opponent than the trainer.
Man Rummy I love that picture dude. I swear if Bradley and Atlas pull this off, I will make a poster of that picture.
