I dislike Fury's homophobic and misogynistic views but I feel more sorry for him than annoyed - I suspect he is a decent person at heart but a bit misguided and unwell (interviews years before the Klitschko fight made it evident he was a manic depressive or similar). To my mind, his humour and knowledge of boxing make him one of the more genuine people in the game.

I dislike Stevenson and Broner for being craven criminals - but am not annoyed by them. Also, I could never be upset by someone for simply being limited - chinny or soft punching - they have every right to make a living using what talents they do have.

Personally, "annoying" is a term I tend to reserve for hypocrites and irritants. Paulie is a big one - accusing anyone who beats him of being on PEDs and ignoring any dubiousness linked to his paymaster. The afore-mentioned Virgil Hunter for his creepy whispering and seeming belief that he is a Yoda-like genius, rather than someone who had the Ward golden-goose walk through his door. Danny Garcia was very annoying - either fighting nobodies or getting undeserved Ws - though he redeemed himself slightly by taking on Thurman.

Froch is an annoying ex-boxer - everytime he opens his mouth - or produces another Matchroom biased scorecard - my fond memory of those great fights against Bute etc fades a little more.

 

Any list without Wilder's obnoxious ass on it is so much toilet paper.
