The tendency to overrate fighters on these forums

    Yes, alot of people go bananas after a fight. Then some steps in and tries to bring back the balance by underrating the same fighters.

    I don't know if Cotto was overrated here. He is an elite fighter, and many agreed with that. And now because he lost to Margarito, whom had very few fans on here(most rated him as a C+ lvl fighter, mostly due to his style), some now thinks suddenly is isn't all that.

    I can only think that like the real world, this boxing site is filled with sheep, who form their opinions on the consensus of the forum - and are therefore very inconsistant.

    Then there are those who don't dare to put their heads on the block by posting an inpopular opinion, despite them having the pioneer mind, but lack the balls.

    Of course there are alot of quality posters as well, who know their ****...

    It isn't so much that Margarito is overrated. It's that his fights have long been underrated. When truthfully he has fought the very best at 147 and done quite well for himself.

    Cotto was the only guy at 147 getting the proper respect. That all changed saturday. You of course hate Margarito so you'll do anything to discredit him, but it falls short here.
