Hahahaha You're talking about glass jaws yet have a picture of Zab Judah in your avatar. The irony is killing me :rofl:rofl:rofl
1. Hell yes! Khan dominated the fight and it would have been a big controversy if he stopped it there and cortez knew that, seeing khan was a GBP fighter as well. If Khan was dropped and got up and was taking ALOT of punishment, with ALL punches landing then it was his right to stop it, but that didnt happen. 2. Some perhaps could have. 3. No and he proved he didnt need to. 4. It was pretty dirty, overall i think the round was well judged, put with more after dirty boxing, I wouldnt have been suprised if he did!
1. I think it was as close to gettin stopped as you can get Khan was runnin for his life, 1 more big shot from Maidana could of ended it or had Cortez jump in. 2. I did score it 10-8 on my own card, Khan was out on his feet and spent most the round doing nothing but running. 3. I thought he was guna, its hard to say he should of done when he went on to win anyway 4. No.
1) Khan was there. What's interesting that his head seemed clear vs. Prescott, he just couldn't get up, his body wouldn't respont. Here smartly looked (and complained) numerous times to Cortez, and showed Joe that his head is clear. Smart move. 2) Maybe 10-8, but Khan was winnig the round early. If it's a 10-8 Khan could've got some 10-8 rounds himself, not because he hurt Marcos but because he dominated utterly in certain stanzas 3) I don't think a knee would've helped. His thin legs seem to give up under him when hurt and it takes more than a few seconds to get them back, more like 1-2 minutrs, and Amir was able to get that time, then again, with his head being clear. Look at Pac's legs: monster! If I were Ariza I'd put a lot of muscles there for Khan. 4) Maybe, but it wouldn't have made a difference. All in all - what a fight!
