    Cobb came to the defense of a friend, who, during the course of a bar brawl, was severely beaten. Cobb rescued him and endured a broken arm, costing him a scheduled fight with Muhammad Ali. Ali then fought Trevor Berbick and lost.

    I like "The Cobb." He's cool.. He was tuff and gutty... I liked some of his movies as well, but you never see ol' Texas anymore.... The hell is he up to in 2011???

    Texas Cobb was great in "Critical Condition, Fletch & Diggstown."
