Ward says he's a combination of RJJ, Hopkins and FMJ
    Which is just as arrogant

Well Dino, given your antipathy to the Klitschko's ( transparent agenda ) , we shall see if you also feel the same about another Ukranian fighter.

My guess if you up your anti-Lomo counts over the course of time. If proving me wrong buys your silence on him, it's fine by me! If I'm correct, maybe I'll archive this post and show it to you later. A win-win

Pretty amazing that the #1 pound for pound fighter in boxing only has 8 pro fights. This has never been done before...

He's a "sweet science" lover's dream, but also very easy on the eyes for action oriented fans. The missing link in baxxin'.

Loma stepped into the professional ranks in American as a seasoned professional. As a matter of fact he is the most prepared fighter to ever enter into the professional ranks. I don't find it amazing that he is doing what he's doing. His qualifications dictate that is what he should be doing. His only issue was how he approached a fight mentally and since the Salido fight, he has solved that problem. He is a top flight professional fighter and has been for a while.

Talented fighter but guys come on. Let him beat more fighters and great fighters.

He's not a top p4p ever type talent FFS. Duran would have massacred this man. Like horribly.

I mean who couldn't handle the pressure of a Salido. Hell I'd pick Jose Luis Castillo to beat him.

    So let's hold on.

He actually totally could... It's very unlikely that Salido had won the fight -despite his massive weight and fouling- if it had gone 15 rounds instead of 12.
In the end it was Siri who had to hold on for dear life to handle Loma's pressure.

Loma got bullied by a C+ grader named Salido. It was only his second fight, but wasn't Loman like 25 years old and near his prime too?

The way he creates angles by which he can hit but not be hit, is spellbinding to watch....

Pacquiao did the same thing except he hit like a freight train compared to Loma. And maintained much more speed and intensity throughout the fight.

The thing I don't get about Loma is people act like he does things other fighters have never done. He's just a fighter.

How can any boxer be anywhere near their prime in only their 2nd fight? Physical prime, maybe. But boxing prime is a combination of athletic ability, technical skill and experience conjoining at a point where all three are sufficiently developed and before the athletic prowess has started to diminish to such an extent the other two factors are mitigated. Tyson's prime was aged 22ish, for example. For Lennox Lewis, it was his early 30s and he didn't beat a prime Mike Tyson...

He DID things that nobody had ever done before. He holds a couple of records in the sport to prove it.

I can't see from my post where you could derive the conclusion I thought no one else had done this before? I was just admiring his work, as I did/do Pacman. I guess you said 'people act like'... so, there's your qualification.

And all good preparation for 12-round contests? Again, you are applying hyperbole to what I wrote where it does not exist. 400 amateur fights or not, he was not in his prime when he lost to Salido, evidenced by the fact he's getting better. Experienced in term of amateur boxing and a fledgling pro career? Yes. Prime? Nowhere near.

Until Loma beats a quality pressure fighter he shouldn't be p4p. He's unproven against rough riders and guys who bring the pressure and pain.
