Is that I don't see any examples of him making any successful strategy to break down a boxer who likes to stay on his toes. Bhop was a better boxer/fighter than Taylor but his strategy failed him... apart from that I'm not too sure which fights to look in to.
trust me, the guy is mr. ****ing wizard. But Richardson can't execute the fighter must do that. Are u curious as to whether Richardson will have a plan in place for Mayweather?
No I know he will have a plan in place but I'm curious as to wether it'll be the right one. That's why I'm looking for examples.
True I can see where u coming from but I also believe brother Naazim has proved to be if nt the top then 1 of the best strtegists in the game...and I dnt see him running his mouth as must as the others
@RealIzm: What Bhop fight exactly he did a pre-fight master game plan ? Most of Bhop's win is Bhop just being himself. Credit goes to Bhop himself and Bouie's upbringing to him. Nazim's notable success to me is spotting a cheating wrap. That's about it. Bernard hyping him as a strategist in a recent interview isn't bible, Bernard being a GBP promoter is just hyping up Team Mosley. I need to see more proof that Nazim is a genius during camp and in the fight corner. I don't know any other fighter in Nazim's trainer resume that is worth mentioning. Before Mosley, Is he training other fighters too bar Bhop? I only know Bernard, his son/nephew + a few amateurs. He looks odd, sounds streetsmart and very COOL. Doesn't mean he's genius.
His notable successes are Hopkins' ownage of Pavlik and Mosley's destruction of Margarito both of which are far more notable successes than spotting a handwrap, even though that was critical. But still Pavlik and Margarito aren't exactly fighters who like to stay on their toes.
I'm sure Nazim won't make the same mistake that everybody else and their grandma has made against floyd....Everybody looks at the castillo 1 as the gameplan....that has proved to be an epic failure in preparing for mayweather.... The more and more I look at mosley-mayweather, the more I think Floyd wins a WIDE UD....where after round 4, the gameplan goes out the window for shane... but that is the million dollar question, what WILL be the gameplan? I have a feeling there going to try and preach discipline in this fight, and try and make floyd engage imo....I just don't think shane is disciplined enough to carry thru on that to win 7 rounds against floyd...
The gameplan has already been established, studied, and visualized every night when Mosley shuts his eyes. The biggest advantage is in Mosleys corner and its not his trainer.
nazim probably saw marquez land a few rights and wants mosley to try his luck with his vicious rights. also, floyd throws that jab to the body a lot just to get his spacing and timing. a good fighter can step into that jab and catch floyd with a straight right. however, floyd's reflexes and counter ability make people hesitant to risks against mayweather. also, mosley swings TOO wide. mayweather will duck under his shots and catch shane with his hands low all night. much love to both fighters. i can't wait to see it!
True. Something i spotted to be a great disadvantage when fighting a slick fighter with great reflex like FMJ. Mosley has only been like that the past 5 years when he started to rely on power, he hasn't adjusted since. He doesn't swing that awkwardly during ODLH 1 & 2.
Personally BHop beating and schooling Pavlik and Mosley destroying Margarito were no surprise to me at all. I expected these results.
To me, the key to beating Mayweather isn't in the Castillo fight, it's the Judah fight. I've never seen Floyd as troubled as he was early in that fight. Judah simply didn't have the mental strength or the ability to adapt later in the fight and fell apart. I think Shane has both those qualities with more durability and power. I hope John David Jackson will also be in Shane's corner for the fight. Between Jackson, Richardson, and Hopkins you've got some great war generals.
