I can understand ppl being sick of League players who turn to pro boxing getting all the media attention etc.

I have to say though, fighters like Haumono and Mundine come from Fathers who were quality fighters and most definetly have spent alot of time growing up around the ring.

Give it to hoppa asmuch as you like but the likes of Huamono are no different then the other boxers who come from fighting families.

He just happened to gain a reputation as a decent footy player before he decided to give possibly his trying calling a go.

    Absolutely correct.

It's a miracle Mundine actually played league before switching to boxing. Maybe his mum had something to do with that as a young boy, but in all honesty Choc is from a boxing background.

And sometimes when supporters of Mundine like TEKE say he had no am background they are wrong, Mundine wld have boxed in the training gyms with his dad from a very earlier age.

In Australia, if u are multi-talented in different sports, there is an unwritten push not to take up a sport as hard and brutual as boxing, that's a fact and that's why Australia is a great country to live, we don't have to fight for our dinner.
